Rajun Cajun and crinkle cut fries.
    Dan T.

We walked in after the downpours shortly after 600 pm on Friday evening. It's seat yourself. Typical bar with some restaurant seating. The bar, a mix of high tops, low tables, and a few booths. The menu is loaded with sandwiches, burgers, and apps. Our server was a sweetheart. I think her name was Rita, but I might be mistaken. Never saw her without a smile on her face. Along with the other basic sides they offer crinkle cut fries, curly fries, or waffle fries. Sounds simple...but I appreciate the choice. Service was a little slow tonight, but the place was busy and there were only two servers working as far as I could tell. Besides a quick greeting when we walked in, we got menus right away, and our drinks orders were taken and delivered fast. Our server checked in with us several times so we knew we hadn't been forgotten about. I ordered the rajun cajun sandwich ($10.50?). A 6 oz. grilled tenderloin with cajun seasoning, pepperjack cheese, and bacon. A sourdough bun I think... It normally comes with lettuce and tomato, but I passed on the veggie toppings tonight. And crinkle cut fries of course... It was my first time at 804 Main and I was pleasantly surprised. My food was very good. The burgers I saw looked fantastic; they have one called the 804 Alarm with a Carolina Reaper sauce... Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. Lots of TVs if you don't want to miss a game. And like I said...the attentiveness of our server made any delay in our food arriving (on an obviously busy Friday night) easily forgivable. Great staff can make or break a visit when there are hiccups. I will definitely not hesitate to stop in again.

This is a great bar for a town the size of Norwalk! Be warned though there are times when it is packed. They serve typical bar food, but the big difference is IT'S GOOD! I love the ginormous tenderloin! And if you like bacon on or IN your burger this is the to be! And I have to mention the homemade egg rolls! Delicious!

A large group of us came here on a Monday night. Street parking is your best option and there's not a ton of it. The inside was larger than I anticipated and had everything you need for a bar. There's TVs playing sports, a large bar, a couple booths, other tables, and a pool table in the back. We didn't all arrive at the same time so orders were taken at different times, which was expected. I don't think our waiter smiled once the entire time. He would approach us but just didn't seem to care much. A lot of the group ordered a burger of some kind and they seemed to enjoy them. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and waffle fries. The Philly was good. I really enjoyed eating it. The waffle fries were another story. They were either really really crispy or so hard I could barely bite through them. I ate maybe five and stopped. The regular fries (crinkle cut) that others got looked better. The onion rings at a table behind us looked even better. I will give this place another shot as the sandwich was good, the atmosphere is good, and maybe the waiter will smile next time!

Great food, drinks and service! I love coming to 804 Main to check out what the daily egg roll filling is, tonight is a Curry Pork and it's one of the best I've had!

Great little whole in the wall. Burgers are great. Egg rolls are sneaky good. Slow paced and high character joint that's worth a try.

If you come to this Mullets location when there are activities at either the Fieldhouse or the diamonds/soccer fields, expect parking to be a nightmare. Norwalk just hasn't made enough parking spots for the complex as a whole and unfortunately, that has to be hard on these businesses. If you cannot find a spot, how are you supposed to come enjoy. When you do find a day that has ample parking, the interior is really spacious and can accommodate many. We've had friendly service with good attention both times I've been. If you are a "fancy" coffee drinker and that's what you're wanting, you won't find it here. They'll serve you a black coffee with some creamer and sugar options. I'm not a lover of their water cups. They are metal and so very cold to handle. They also sweat quickly so are very drippy. My husband loves them. To each their own. The breakfast food has been good both times. I got the Seafood Hash the first time and questioned it having cheese but figured they know what they're doing. It was yummy all together. I couldn't finish it all and it reheated well at home. The second time I had the Cinnamon Roll pancakes meal. Those pancakes were delicious! I took two of them home and they also reheated well. Mullets is a solid addition to Norwalk for breakfast.

It was easy to find right next to the Norwalk Fieldhouse and ball fields. There's a large lot so parking isn't an issue. We arrived at about 430 PM and were greeted right away as we walked in. Party of two. We were shown to a table in the front dining area. Seating is a combination of booths, low top tables and chairs, and a bar area with the standard bar seating we all know and love. The location is a pretty big space divided into basically four areas. A smaller front dining area by the host/hostess station, a larger mid dining area, the rear section is the bar area. The restrooms are in a small hallway to the Left of the bar. There's an arcade at the end of that hallway. Tillman (our server) popped over a minute or so after we were seated. He handed us menus and took our drink orders. We ordered two fountain drinks, a catfish po'boy with cheese curds, and a gringo burger with cheese curds. The sandwiches normally come with fries and there is an upcharge for other side options. The food was ready after a short wait. Tillman kept our drinks full. He pointed us to the arcade so we could go check it out before our food arrived. Everything was hot and fresh off the grill and out of the fryer! Tasted fantastic! The catfish po'boy reminded me a lot of the one I used to get at Wobbly Boots. Next time I'll ask if adding bacon is an option... Lol Tillman checked on us a few times to make sure everything was okay. Everyone we ran across was friendly and at least said hello. One of the managers checked on us about 2/3 of the way through our meal. It's standard table service. Ordering and payment were done through our server at the table. They take cash or cards. Our total came to $39 and change before tip. Being relatively new the place looks clean and while they weren't too busy multiple staff members were wiping down surfaces and preparing for their dinner crowd. A great first experience with Mullet's - Norwalk! And Tillman, from start to finish, was a big part of that...! They were serving some brunch items and a regular lunch menu. I really didn't know what to order so I went with the classic cheeseburger.
