I am requesting a refund of $5,289.80 it has been a year in July since I paid for a sweep $1500, I paid $877.80 and $2912 additional which is 10% for me and my husband loans and credit card debit/credit repair, I was at 620 credit score and Reko said I would be at 700 (which never happened) me and my husband's credit score dropped to 400's. Everything went to collections nothing was done. This company ruined my life! We tried to resolve the issue with Reko and he kept saying in a month and then it went to it was tax season. I have text messages with my attempts to make it right. It is illegal to ask and receive the money before the services are completed. Man, I've never done this review stuff, but I will not move on without providing this information publicly. I am not tryna sway anyone's decision to work with this company, however, the way I was handled by the owner Reko there's no way I could let this slide. This will be a long review, but it's worth the read. Let's be clear about 4-5 years ago I came to this company for a credit sweep and they delivered as they said they would, but this was the times where sweeps were a thing. If you notice all of their best reviews are mostly around that same time. Fast forward to this year I came back to Reko for help after damaging my credit again during Covid. I called Reko and informed him of my circumstances. He informed me that they would be able to do what they did before, I mean his presentation was very convincing, so much that I zelled him $1500 for a credit sweep like 9pm at night. He informed me that a majority of my accounts would come off the first round, which is why I paid that type of money. Long story short after the 1st round absolutely nothing was removed from my report. Although he insisted that it was. I matched up two months of credit reports side by side and the only thing that was different was one inquiry. I requested a refund because he did not deliver like he said he would. He also stopped communicating with me regarding my account and often got defensive when you asked for updates or had questions about my account. When asked what happened to a majority of my accounts coming off the first round, he says, it's harder the 2nd time you repair your credit. That make a lot of sense, but his sales pitch prior to signing on did not include this information. He conveniently left that out to get me to send him my money. It has been a nightmare ever since. No communication, unprofessionalism, bad business practices and a lack of integrity. He recently terminated my credit repair because he couldn't find my log in information. When I requested a refund, he conveniently found my log in information. Unfortunately he took advantage of my desperation to have my credit repaired, and although they did absolutely nothing for me, he is refusing to give me a refund. 4 months had passed and my fico scores has not budged! This review is for anyone else that was scammed by this company, one you are not alone, and two if you are looking to join me in filing complaints to the FTC and your attorney general send me a message. This was the worst experience ever and guess what Reko can care less after he gets your money. I will not stop until I get my money back, even if me getting my money back looks like him losing customers or even worse loses this God awful business. Insane, iv had a lot of company's promise and not deliver. This is bu far one of the best business experiences iv had with a company thus far. Reko knows what he's doing. I went from a 460 to a 750 in 45 days. Hard to believe but its true... Very professional from the gate, Jessica was extremely helpful and anytime i called to get progress she answered back instantly. After going through the credit sweep program for 18 months I decided to try to add tradelines since the credit sweep only added 80-90 points. I paid 2500 dollars to ad 2 tradelines (a 15k card and a 25k card each around 20 years old) I was told this would post in a couple weeks. I timed it to buy a home but nothing had posted for over 2 months and by that time rates were 1.25% higher. I was told they initial posting didn't happen because my credit had a lock on it so I spent 7 hours calling 8 different companies only to hear the same thing, there was no lock on my credit at all! A week ago (about 10 weeks after I started) I had a 6k Macys card post to my credit which boosted it a whopping 13 points. I have been going back and forth with Jay for weeks now letting him know I wanted a refund because I clearly did not get what I paid for and it took MUCH longer than I was told. However, now that I have a Macy's card posting on my credit I am being told "I cannot get a refund because money was paid and tradelines posted". The expectations they set were favorable and I would have been happy if I either got what I was told I paid for in the timeframe I was given or received a refund because that did not happen. No I am still out 2,500, have 1 tradeline that I did not want, and was not able to get an affordable rate for a home because the window has closed. I told Jay I didn't want to write this post because it's not who I am but I felt compelled to do it to help anyone else who is thinking about spending money to boost their credit. It took two-three months before I saw my score jump. I had a lot of incorrect information which sunk my score. Four-five months after they started-I was approved for several bank mortgages, auto loan and credit cards. My late payments weren't taken off, but with time I hope they will be behind me. I think you need at least a year with them for bad credit files if you have really bad stuff. I'm now on my seventh month and I was in the low 500s, now in the 700s. I went back to them to help with taking old credit inquiries off my file, but none of them were taken off. When they fall off and the late payments aren't reported within the last 18 months, I hope to be around the high 700s. It was worth it for me. read more
