Amazing breakfast! We got both of the breakfast spreads, 2 savory and 1 sweet for a table of 7 and it was plenty of food. Everything was delicious, the croissants were my favorite though. Perhaps the best I've ever eaten. The coffee was amazing as well. Service was fine. Ambiance was nice. Only one bathroom though, so there was often a line.

Taste: 4* Service: 5* Price: 4* Location: 3* (down an alleyway off the Main Street) Great little place to stop and have snacks and coffee. Stopped here for a late afternoon pick me up. The coffee was good and the fries were fantastic. Hot, crunchy, and salty. Great with a beer. The coffee was solid and the service was great. Always nice to see polite, respectful young adults working to earn money.

Super friendly, beautiful indoor / outdoor space, yummy AeroPress. Didn't eat here but the food looks good. Perfect stop for some caffeine!!

Popular brunch spot among travelers, and rightfully so! The food is delicious and the place is darling. I got a watermelon juice and the avocado toast, plus the mango acai bowl to share with my husband. It was so refreshing and worthwhile. My husband got the smoked salmon bagel and an espresso and loved it all. It's pretty clean eating so come here if you want to eat heartily while not feeling weighed down.

After eating pastel de natas every morning for breakfast on vacation, my body was craving something healthy for breakfast on our last day. 7G Roaster Cafe had an extensive menu (lots of veg options too!). Even on a chilly morning, the acai bowl hit.the.spot, my latte was great, and the service was kind. My only wish is that I found 7G earlier so I could've tried more off their menu!

I was thrilled to find this roaster in Gaia. I pretty much had good coffee everywhere in Portugal, but I super appreciated 7G. It's hip with a chill vibe. It's spacious and has a patio, too, and is a great stop before or after the Port cellars. You sit at the tables to order and pay at the counter when you are done. I had already eaten, but the vegan brunch platter sounded great. I still had to get a croissant though, which was perfectly buttery and flaky. And the cappuccino was excellent. This is definitely the place for coffee aficionados and is definitely worth seeking out.

Savory breakfast and coffee tasting before wine tasting! Like a Disney theme park for coffee lovers, this roaster also hosts a hotel on the banks of the river. The barrista sampler is totally worth the price ($7.50) as you get four types of coffee. This visit we tasted cold juice pressed from the unroasted berries of the coffee bean! Next we had the V2 coffee roast, which was lighter and sweeter than normal roasts. Then we had a cappuccino and roasted espresso, rounding out the coffee progression. The food was excellent, if you like buttery pastries and fluffy pancakes you will love it. Although located in a tourist part of town, this place has excellent quality and prices!

My dad discovered this place after exploring some back alleys in Gaia on his own and was excited to take us. Coincidentally, my mom and I had also received free hot chocolate samples on the street by a girl working for the same place and we were told to check out at some point. So we did! This coffee shop is a lot different than ones you typically find in Europe. For starters, they have drip coffee. But the vibe itself reminded me more of hipster coffee shops we have in America. They have a variety of different beans to choose from and so many different styles of coffee. I decided to try something different and got the Aeropress coffee. My parents both got cappuccinos. After drinking a lot of espresso I was actually excited to have drip coffee, or maybe just to have a cup that would last ten times as long as a tiny espresso. The Aeropress was good, producing a coffee I was told was full bodied. I enjoy coffee but I am by no means a connoisseur, so it was nice that the staff was friendly and could explain the different types to me. They also had V60 and Chemex which I would have tried if we had the opportunity to come back here. They also had a bunch of good food options, especially for breakfast. They had a full on brunch plate, with a vegetarian option, açaí bowls, and toasts. My dad and I split one of the desserts in the cabinet and we both really enjoyed it. My dad said it was better than his favorite cake back home. I so dearly wish this place was in my hometown because I would be here all the time. However, I am glad I had the opportunity to visit while we were in Porto and am happy we found such a gem.

The best place for serious coffee drinkers in Portugal! High quality beans, multiple preparation options ranging from cold brew to chemex, all made just right. Even the food was top notch. If you love coffee this is definitely the place to get your fix.

A must try for coffee lovers visiting Porto! The space is beautiful. It boosts a bright open patio with lots of natural light. We tried the coffee tasting menu. It was 6€ which included cascara, drip coffee, cappucino and expresso. We left with 2 bags of freshly roasted beans to bring back to Canada.

What better way to celebrate a vacation in Porto Portugal than with either/ both: a coffee tasting or port wine tasting. I ordered the coffee tasting for 6€ while my cousin ordered the port wine tasting for 12€. Great value for both. The coffee tasting started with cascata- made from bean husks. Has a somewhat sweet berry flavor and tasted more like tea. I got a whole little pot full, so shared with my cousin so she could cleanse her palate in between port samples. The second coffee was a light, yet flavorful Kenyan blend served in a special coffee flute. The third, an espresso poured to perfection. Followed by a cappuccino. All were very good. Meanwhile, I got to sample my cousin's generously-poured port glasses. 7 in total- four whites and and three reds. Our mutual favorite, and the one that won a ride back to Spain with her, was the white wine port, aged 10 years. The restaurant, or cafe, is elegant, yet rustic. Long wooden benches with different place settings. The environment is casual- choose an open spot and sit. There are servers who come around and take your order. They all seem very knowledgeable about the products. For each coffee of my tasting and each port of my cousin's, the servers would explain its intricacies... even in English. Very impressive. Seems a popular place for tourists and locals. There is outdoor seating with heaters in the winter time. They also have food. I tried the chocolate cake which was okay. The tobelerone cake looked amazing and I'd order that next time. The cafe is located on a side street across the bridge from downtown Porto. I highly recommend.

Fortunately after checking in it further, she was able to give me a table in the back. It took awhile for someone to take my order, and when I ordered a flat white, they informed me the machine was broken, and they only had filtered coffee. Certainly a disappointed but, hey, stuff happens. I figured I'd just get a coffee elsewhere afterwards. I ordered the Wild Eggs, and the dish came out at a reasonable pace. It was tasty, but not the best I've had in Porto so far -- the bread was stale, so the crust was so crunchy and tough that it was hard to chew. It was a good sized portion, though, so I had leftovers to take away. However, no one came back to check on me or to see if I needed the check. The servers seemed busy with other tables, and I can understand, it's a busy, popular restaurant. But I got the sense I was an annoyance, and they couldn't be bothered with me. Which I also get, because tourists aren't super welcomed by locals in Portugal. Though I've felt much more welcomed in other establishments during my stay, so it wasn't very comfortable for me here. The location, atmosphere and food is what kept this from being 2 stars, but given that the prices are on the higher end, it wouldn't be my first choice of places to revisit.

Sadly the sweet potato were cut like french fries, but were soggy. If presented as a hash or home fries, I'd probably would have been ok with it. Glad we tried the francesinha though!

I was absolutely shook at the prices. 7€ for a pingo? (A sip of expresso with a drop of milk and the cup is slightly bigger than two or three thimbles. You can get cup of milk for 3/4 euros though, at the store you can get a whole liter for .89€ Listen, I am 100% sure being in this cafe is a dream for some potter fans but it is sad that the prices are that insane, but... clearly people pay them. I politely excused myself and I walked across the way and had two pork rissóis and a cup of coffee (not a baby pingo- think cappuccino size) for 3€... and for free, the real Portuguese experience with locals. The people I engaged with were lovely and kind here. This review is for the prices. Not the food, drinks, or service. Let's be real, of course ambiance is off the chart gorgeous. So if you don't mind a 50€ tab for 3-4 baby, baby coffees maybe just take a picture from the outside and call it good.
