I stopped into 76 gas station on Leisure Town Rd. because I needed a propane tank refill for my grill. I always come here to refill my propane tanks because they are always very nice and have one of the lowest prices in town for propane tank refills at $2.99 per gallon. If you bring a regular 5 gallon tanks, make sure it empty or near empty as they don't track how much they put in, just charge a flat 5 gallons to fill/top off. Gas prices are here aren't the cheapest, but they are right off I-80, so it is easy on/off the freeway. They have a car wash (not sure how much they charge for the car wash), so if you purchase a car wash, they discount the unleaded gasoline/diesel by $0.30/gallon. This is "Leisure Town 76" at the major junction of I-80 x Leisure Town Road in Vacaville. This gas station has a prime location near the freeway ramps of Interstate 80 and the Kaiser Medical Center across the freeway. As soon as you exit I-80 East, you're looking right at this 76. That probably explains the higher prices for gas and items in the Food Mart. This is a multi-feature gas station with gas, food mart, McDonald's, and a car wash. The idea is to snag the business of the traveler, out of town visitor, or just locals who like the convenience of everything in one place. I was there a few days ago, and the gas station was very clean. The attendant was out walking the grounds checking on things. Gas was at $4.59/gal on Oct 14, and that's about 20 cents higher than what I pay back home. The squeegee tubs were full of fresh soap and there was a squeegee at each pump. The islands are well lit, and the area seems safe at night. Based on the other reviews, it sounds like someone manages this station closely, which is good and bad. If you need gas, and don't want to see what else is available, there's always "Leisure Town 76." read more

I have used this car wash a few times with my truck. Never a problem. It normally does a decent $6.99 wash. On Thursday, Sept. 6th, 2023, that all came crashing down. I paid the $6.99 to run my black 2012 Grand Sport Corvette through there. About halfway through the wash, I noticed that the brushes were whipping around on my car, but there was no soap suds. I realized that the brushes scrubbing my car were completely dry. There was no water running in the car wash. When the wash ended, I immediately looked at my car and was horrified to find every inch of my car completely scratched. It looked as though my car was 'washed' with sandpaper. I tried to speak with the owner. He initially refused to look at my car or even look at his car wash and immediately said I was just trying to scam him, calling me a crook. Only after he saw that I was warning his other customers about his car wash, he came out and looked at my car. He ran his own truck through his wash and the same thing happened. No water. It is all recorded! He continued to call me a 'crook' and said: "I should just go to Hell." He claimed "I was well known in town for running scams." He was mad I started to record everything. I recorded his malfunctioning car wash and his malfunction response. None of the things he claims are true. Today is Monday, Sept 11th. I just got my car back from trying to get all of the scratches out. After $1000 out-of-pocket detail repair attempt, the detailer can't get it. The car needs a new paint job. The beginning estimate is $15,250, not including the stripes or the $1000 I am already out. I returned to the car wash after getting my car back. This time, the water was running, and the brushes were wet, even though I saw no one use the car wash. The owner saw I was out there, and again refused to acknowledge the difference between Sept. 6th when there was no water and Sept.11th, when there was water running. The owner of the car wash still refused to give me any of his business license or insurance information, claiming he has none. Again, he told me I didn't have permission to record anything. What he is upset with is my documentation. Horrible human being. He knows his machine severely damaged my car and refuses to take any responsibility at all. See you in court! read more

We'll usually stop to fill up here on our way back home from visiting family in the area. It's right off of I-80 so it makes it easy to get on and off which is really the only reason I stop here. The price for gas is through the roof but I've come to expect that when I'm in California. 76 typically has good quality fuel so that's why we pay a premium for it, I guess. The food mart is stereotypical. Nothing that stands out. The snacks/energy drinks, as usual, are grossly overpriced. It's fine if all you need to do is fill up and grab a snack or two. Energy drinks cost nearly 3 times what they would almost anywhere else so keep that in mind. The customer service is pretty much hit or miss. read more

At this location you can't buy a $1.00 iced tea with your ATM card even though you are going to use the same ATM card as credit to fill up your gas tank which is a considerable amount. Due to the high prices on gas. You just think gas prices are high now. Just wait until spring! Anyways it's a $3.00 minimum in store to use your ATM at this location. That car wash ruined the whole side of my car. I called the owner and he said "out of a hundred cars that comes through and no complaints so I don't believe you." Do not go to this car wash and anyone else interested in a class action lawsuit let me know. The only thing this place has going for them is that they are really close to the freeway, and my place of employment. I've made suggestions to the owner on several occasions about getting a certain flavor of snack and every time I ask, he acts surprised, like he has no idea what I'm talking about. The 2 star review is mainly because this place has ridiculous prices on quickie mart fare--i.e. energy drinks and snacks. When the place a couple miles away offers the same thing for half the price, you should probably catch on or lose business. I only go here out of pure desperation, when I'm on a 10 minute break. Besides the slightly over priced gas, this was a favored station for me until today because of the convenience. Decided to get a car wash today, which is the gripe of my complaint. Note that I've frequented this gas station and car wash for +2 years, most likely receiving well over 100 washes over my time (yes I am one of those people that gets a wash almost every time I fill). Anyways, once I entered the wash, there was a man watching me at the other end of the wash, which I believe was the owner. To my amazement, this wash was the fastest I've ever experienced! Note that I did choose the super wash, which usually lasts a bit longer. It was obvious that the wash was modified since my last visit, and did not operate as a "super wash" compared to my last visits. Upon exiting, I lowered my window and informed the man, who had the door open to the service room for the wash, that the wash seemed a bit short. To my amazement, this guy proceeded to condescend me, telling my car was very clean and that his wash was the cheapest and best in Solano county. Then, he put his hand on my car and began to lean on it like it was his. Hmmmm. When I did get out of my car, to my amazement, my car was still dirty. If I could give this gas station ZERO stars, I would. This place has to be pretty bad for a gas station in order to get 1 star, right? Well the gas prices, for one, are always higher than the surrounding gas stations. And two, the attendant(I don't know if he's the owner or what) is so rude! I requested to get my propane filled and he said he is going to finish his dinner first, THEN he can help me. Would he have asked a man to wait? Probably not. Horrible customer service! I've been here 3 times for a car wash and purchased the $6.99 wash that is supposed to be the best wash they have. As I've pulled in the undercarriage spray does NOT work neither does the wheel scrubber!! I've went inside a spoke with the manager, and he swears it does work. So I paid for the wash and asked him to come out and verify that it works. He said "OK" and he walked out while I drove through, and just as I said it DIDNT WORK!!! It is nice & clean here. Modern. Music plays from above the pump area which is nice. They are connected to McDonalds so since theyre fountain drinks are a little pricey, you can just step over to McDonalds to get any size fountain drink for just $1. The 2 businesses share a nice 2-stall restroo, which is always clean. They have a car wash and large resting area w/air & water available. They are right off the freeway (highway 80)and getting back on is just as quick & easy. They have a well kept wine selection, ice, snacks, and staff seems family owned and friendly. Personally I prefer the AmPm that it competes with just 60 up Leisure Town Rd. They're "Too much good stuff" catchphrase is no lie & they carry way more of a selection in everything from hot foods to 99 cent fountain drinks to gift cards, baseball caps, sunglasses, phone chargers, wine & chilled beer and quarts of car oil. They too, have a car wash. And private restrooms. To each his own though. I can respect having the 2 options. read more
