Fortunately, this station was conveniently available right when I needed them! Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences. But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station, with convenience store. Even though it is located on a busy corner which in turn, seems to keep them busy, it's nice that there is plenty of space to maneuver around the pumps with little stress when having to wait ones turn.

I've given this location more than enough chances to earn my business -- three separate visits this…read moreyear, to be exact -- and each one ended the same way: no propane refill. The first time, the man at the counter simply said "no" and stared at me, offering no explanation. The second time, a different employee at least apologized and explained there was no one to cover the register, suggesting I "come another time." And today, I was told to "come back in an hour." What makes this so frustrating is that the station heavily advertises propane service -- banners, A-frames by the door, signs everywhere. Yet when it comes time to actually provide the service, they're consistently unprepared or unwilling. I finally drove a little farther to the Chevron station at Antelope and Roseville and had my tanks filled immediately at $3.49 per gallon. Smooth, quick, and professional -- exactly how it should be. If you're counting on this place for propane, don't waste your time. It's clear they're not serious about offering the service they promote.
