I have come here for propane over the last few years. Today I tried again. I asked the woman behind the counter if she could help me with propane though she never looked up to greet me she immediately said "no, we don't do that anymore". It's Wednesday 12:35pm and she had no other customers. Either she didn't want to or the station stopped doing propane and hasn't hauled away the tank or the signage. Even an attempt by the woman at a kinder response would have made all the difference, clearly if the owner stopped doing propane it isn't her fault. This is the worst place to pump. I pulled out a $100 bill for gas and the old lady working the counter immediately told me she count break it cuz she doesn't have enough. WTF!!! Really!!! I was so dumbfounded I could not even respond. I wanted to pay $60 for gas, so only needed to give me back $40. How does a gas station not have $40 in change?!!! Don't know what the hell is wrong with this place or this person. This station is also located only a block from freeway so business is constant. Not a line to wait in for fuel so that was nice. However, this place is a nightmare to get out of when you need to get to the freeway. The price on fuel was reasonable for the area which is why we stopped here. I'll chalk it up to a lesson learned and remember this next time I'm in the area. Clerk Stevan was asleep when I came into the store. Again. He coughed directly onto my redbull without wearing a mask whilst his spit droplets land on it. Needless to say, I was appalled and refused to take it, instead grabbing a new one. I live close to this convenient store and used to visit often. Sadly it looks like their only good cashier must not work there anymore. I never got his name but he was a large guy, very friendly and always moving when I entered--something quite rare in a gas station attendant, at least by my observations. The only people that work here now are extremely lazy, lack decent hygiene, and obviously don't want to be here as is evident by the overflowing trash outside, boxes and plastic littered inside, dirty floors, disgusting bathrooms, not stocked shelves and sleeping employees. Customer service is terrible. Between trying to wake up the sleeping clerk and waiting for the manager to stop talking and interrupting customers with her stories, this place is anything but convenient. Help with propane is nonexistent. Cigarettes are always out, at least for the past 3 weeks. Case alcohol is always empty even though you can see it through the gaping holes in their back stock. I asked if they had any more case corona in the back and i was told no... Even though I could see it... I've learned my lesson and am taking my business elsewhere. Summary/TLDR: if you don't mind waiting for service even though there are no customers, if you don't mind everything being out of stock or out of date, and if you don't mind touching surfaces with stickiness of unknown origin. Do NOT give this 76 your business! I have never written a review before but this is truly the worst 76 I have ever been to. My mom and I come to fill our propane tanks at this location and have been turned away every single time due to any excuse they could think of. The first time we came they said we needed to come about two hours earlier due to it be dark outside. We said okay and did as they said. We then came two hours earlier the next day and then they said they still couldn't do it. (???) We've gone back several times and it has continued with them sayings it either too hot, too cold, too late or too early. I just don't understand what time or what weather climate I'm suppose to come in? Not only do they turn you away, they give you attitude when asking why they can't provide the service! It's truly the worst customer service I have ever received. I don't want to be that one reviewer that after reading the review you think, "man, that person must be hard to please! or damn, that person must have been having a bad day." I am not that person, I give the business the benefit of the doubt, put myself in their shoes, and working in the service industry myself and know how bad you just want to go home at the end of the day. With that said, you still need to work to make money to survive and if you do not do your job right then you have no money, and as a wise person once said to me "no money... No honey" I work graveyard, and on this street are a handful of gas stations that stay open 24hrs, however Arco is as the end of the road, and has the cheapest gas both in price and quality. Then there is chevron which is a good .20 cents more than any other station on the road. Leaving shell and 76. 76 is cheaper so I go there. However, there is a lady who works nights which after tonight I have decided that I am no longer going to this station anymore. Today she was doing her daily rollover and finishing one day to another. After walking in, grabbing the door to the freezer, I hear, "I'm not helping anyone right now, and I won't be able to for another 20 minutes" There was no apology, no telling me when I first walks through the door, hell she didn't even look up. I left. Another incident was when she was cleaning the restrooms. I waited at the counter to pay for my gas, I coughed, I cleared my throat, I looked around and pondered how much I could've stolen if I really wanted too... Wondered why the doors were unlocked if no one was as the register, and them went back to the counter and waited some more, and finally I hear her say "I'll be right there" when she finally arrived at the counter there was no apology, just an explanation that she was waiting for the floor to dry.... Really? I When she has been at the register, her customer service has been lack luster. You would think that you would develop some sort of familiarity to someone who USED to visit the store once a week. Save your time and go to another station, unless the guy is working, he gets you in and out and at least says hi. read more

I've gone into this station many times these last few months, and usually it's fine, but today when I went inside to buy some drinks, not a single person was wearing masks. 6 people in the store, including myself and the attendant, and I was the only one wearing a mask. I have seen the staff there care about masks before (there's a lady who's name I forgot that's usually the one working when I come by. She's always been very good about wearing her mask and making sure customers do as well), but this time, this particular employee (a larger man with glasses, I never caught a look at his name tag), clearly doesn't care. He didn't have a mask on at all, not even dangling from his face, and he was allowing customers in without mask either. That employee seems to care nothing for the safety of the customers, nor the state wide mask mandate. What can I say, it's a gas station. They have gas, there are usually plenty of available pumps to choose from (unlike Arco down the street), and you it's conveniently located near the freeway. I do not enjoy answering a bunch of questions at the pump, such as whether or not I'd like a car wash, and especially not by some dude asking if I'd like a demo of his cleaning products. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Money was stolen from my account. Got gas here at night and pumps "locked" after I entered my credit card billing zip code at the pump. Went inside to cashier who had me run my card for $40 worth of gas but said my card was "denied". I used another card to prepay. I later checked my account and found that the cashier had, in fact, charged $40 to my card that was supposedly denied. When I tried to call the station, I found that the phone number is no longer in service. The gas appear cheaper but they make it back by stealing it. read more
