76 - Gas Stations Near Me - Ludlow, California

Prices on the shelves did not reflect the price at check out at all!! How does a small candy ring up the same as a King Size!!??? And when we asked the cashier, she laughed and said they just updated their prices.... How many other people fall for this without checking their receipts? Money wasn't an issue, it's the principle! read more

76 - Over priced items!! - Gas Stations Near Me - Ludlow, California

Regular gas is $6.49 a gallon. NOT GOOD..... The attached store sells items that are way overpriced too.... read more

Quick and easy stop at this 76 station. The pumps were clean, everything was working properly, and the area felt safe and well-maintained. The store was stocked, and the staff was polite and efficient. In and out without any issues -- exactly what you want from a gas station. read more

Price Goughing on gas just paid $7.49 for Reg Gasoline on 4/21/26, get your gas in Barstow or Needles

**DO NOT STOP HERE FOR BATHROOMS** Go across the way to Chevron. 76 doesn't have indoor bathrooms for your use. Only 2 NASTY portable toilets outside in the back. Poop up to the top. So Smelly! In a non lit area. Absolutely disgusting!! I don't have high expectations for a toilet on a road trip in the middle of the desert. I get it! But C'mon!!! This is outrageous. Especially with kids. I guarantee the gas stations attendants don't walk outside to use a full shitter! Uncalled for. Fix the bathroom problems or have clean portable toilets!!! and it's connected to a Dairy Queen.... You're going to have a gas station & a restaurant but no functioning bathroom? ‍ Z e r o stars. read more

$7 per gallon on both chevron and 76 gas stations here ain't it. Other than that the store inside and DQ is pretty clean and regular priced

Built in 2020 and opened in 2022, incidentally the last time they cleaned any portion of the men's restroom, this facility has to have the highest gas price in all of California: $6.559 per gallon of 87-octane gasoline. Pass. The fuel station has to compete for the "Worst Business in California" award with the Chevron located on the other side of U.S. 40 in Ludlow. Customers service? This place hires those fired from the Chevron (on the other side of US 40) for incompetence: obviously, they have to be re-trained after lunch. Imagine what the bathroom of Calcutta's notorious "Dark Hole" prison must smell like... and this is what you smell walking into the Dairy Queen. I was tempted to take my shoes off and sanitize them after walking into the bathroom to wash my hands. May Heaven help the poor individual who might have to use the toilet there: the condition of the toilet was disgusting... and beyond description, other than to say it would be difficult to see any portion of the porcelain that was actually white (it's true color): there was no toilet paper in the toilet stall, and the bathroom doesn't have a paper towel dispenser, either. Yanno? Maybe the owner of this facility should have visitors clean the bathroom after use. After seeing the contents of the toilet which overflowed onto the floor, I'd suggest using napalm to clean the floor, followed by an incendiary grenade. White phosphorus should work, too. Maybe I was hungry when I walked into the Dairy Queen, but I lost my appetite. This place is so bad, not even the employees will give it a 5-star rating. Later today, I'm filing a complaint with every California state agency that has jurisdiction over this facility. read more

Read the reviews and was hesitant to stop but the restrooms were clean. Lots of parking for trailers and RV's.

All gas stations in Ludlow are way overpriced, but beware of the convenience store at the 76. Many overpriced items and almost everything in the store lacks a price tag. You don't find out the prices until you take it all up to the register. I hope they pay their cashier's extra to have to price check and return all the items people don't actually purchase after knowing the inflated prices here. read more

I saw 1 car at the pumps. Don't know if he got any gas. Fencing closes off behind building. I called, it rang 10 times with no answer. No reviews this year. It must be closed read more

Stopped hereto switch drivers. Of course to go in for coffee will not make the mistake of stopping here again. $5.33 for a cup of coffee!!!! Fuck you California. Can't even have fucking gas station coffee without going broke. read more

Bathrooms were perfectly clean and working and they won't let customers use them. Kids and families were outside using a tree and a disgusting out house. I will go to chevron from now on. The outhouse was horrific. Shame on them. I snuck in but I felt bad for the families. read more

Closed for renovation If you need gas.. continue driving to the other side of the freeway for a Chevron. We were low on gas and almost had a heart attack read more

We've always looked forward to a stop at Dairy Queen and appreciated the large parking area for our RV. We were disappointed to see they were renovating. Seems like the project is taking a long time! Hopefully next year when we travel this way it will be back open. read more

Yes, prices are high here, but that is to be expected. If this town didn't carry gas, you'd have almost 150 miles between stops (Barstow to Needles). You can get food & gas here, stretch your legs and use the restroom. Very conveniently located. read more

This is a truest horrible place! It's bad enough the bathrooms are outhouses but I just opened the doors to each one and poop is piled up so high if you even try to go in there you'll get a disease. Someone needs to call the heath department! Also it looks like they have a Dairy Queen here enticing people to stop but they don't it's shut down and if it is running on days we weren't here the heath department should be called. read more

The convenience store lady was friendly. It's full of cool route 66 nick-nacks and souvenirs. Prices are average. Dairy Queen inside. We got burgers & fries which were not bad. Restrooms inside and port-o-potties outside for pit stops. read more

76 - a gas station with a red and white sign - Gas Stations Near Me - Ludlow, California

This whole place is nasty and the gas is overpriced. Didn't want to even give it one star. Literally a shit hole!

This place has a Dairy Queen inside. Which is about the only redeeming quality of the place... if you are desperate. The gas station/convenience store is set up in such a way that if you have someone that is disabled don't bother getting out of your car. You couldn't get a wheel chair in here if you had to. Additionally, items that are either glass or fragile are placed on shelves which easily allow them to be knocked off and broken in very cramped quarters. Gas prices are a great bit higher than Needles which is only 90 miles if you are going East bound or if you are going West bound only 50 miles to Barstow. Both of which also have Dairy Queen's as well as far better gas prices, customer service, and selections. read more

Dirty bathrooms (an understatement), glass shattered in parking lots, time machine to the bad part of the 90s, and DQ closed at peak time. Avoid this rest stop, but if you're like me, it's probably too late. read more

$2.00 per gallon more than my last fill up. If you need a washroom just walk 100' into the desert because the ones here are super nasty. If you like manufactured soft serve imitation ice cream then you're at home. read more

The toilets were closed. There was a sign on them saying that they were drilling new wells.... Yeah RIGHT!!!! There were porto potties outside, but they smelled like ASS!!!! So I have to hold my peepee for another 30 miles. But my blizzard was really good. Props to dairy queen. read more

I don't mind it. Surprisingly, the gas there isn't as expensive as it is in other places... Such as Orange County, California haha. The service inside was decent. The workers were friendlier than I expected. However, the inside is a bit cluttered. The fact it was packed with people doesn't help, though. If you're in Ludlow and need some gas, I can't give you a reason to NOT stop here! It's not as bad as it seems. read more

I usually stop here to top off the gas tank and use the restroom on my trip to/from Kingman, AZ and home. There are usually lots of people here so be patient and exxpect lines to use the restroom. read more

To start, I admit straight out of the gate that this is an odd review, but this was our favorite rest stop on our way to Arizona! One of the rest stops along the way was really scary, but this one was agreeable for multiple reasons! First of all, there was a Dairy Queen inside, which was a cool option! Secondly, and most importantly, the beef jerky that they have on the counter was so immensely delicious that we had to stop by on our way home again just to have seconds! Yummy! read more

1/8 /2017 the clerk tried to short change me 5.00 handed my change folded up .I WILL NEVER BY ANY THING AGAIN just use restroom.

This business seems to be taking advantage of desperate travelers. If you don't fill up in Barstow or Needles, you will be paying $1.00 per gallon more than everywhere else in the state. Do yourself a favor and make sure you are good to go before entering this stretch of I-40. read more

If your in the middle on the 40 HWY DO GET OFF HERE no decent restrooms we used to stop here for a break go to the restroom for they had a decent one inside. We also always got snacks, water, soda, chips etc. There's six of us when we go to Lake Havasu so we spent about $30-40 at least each time. We no longer do this for now for a few months ago they put in port-a- potties outside that aren't kept up and stink, they are nasty. They also have a portable hand washing station outside of them and it burned my hands because the water was so hot. The port a potties had signs on them that said "BEWARE OF SNAKES". Plus, who wants to go in a port a potty in 120 degree heat. They Dairy Queen across the highway is dirty and they also only have port a potties also. We now stop at the outskirts of Barstow at Loves. Its much nicer the restrooms are clean, there are many toilet stalls to use inside the store area and the gasoline is reasonable. They even have showers in the back section for truckers. There are also restarea's along the highway that aren't out houses or port-o-johns. read more
