Houston we have a problem. I've been coming to this service station for gas for quite some time. I typically fill up my car and when you add a car wash you can save as much as .20 cents per gallon. Earlier this year I pulled in to the pump, filled up the car and waited for the receipt with the code for my car wash. However on this particular morning I had to go inside to get my receipt. I was in a hurry as usual and would have appreciated a sign that said- go inside they've lost the key to add receipt paper. but there was none. I was told by the cashier that someone had lost the key to the pump and weren't able to add the receipt paper to the pump. It's been about six months and still no key. This means that when all I really want is gas and a car wash, I have to go inside, stand in the long line and ask the clerk behind the counter for the receipt on my pump. Last week I asked to speak to a manager, is it possible to get replacement key and put paper in the pump so that customers like myself don't have to come inside just to get my receipt. Today was the final straw ,pumped my gas, added the car wash and went inside to pick up my receipt. When I asked for the receipt on pump #4 the clerk asked, "was that all?" Yes I said and had there been paper in the machine I wouldn't have needed to come inside at all. I really don't think they ever intended to replace that key and now I have to find another station where I can get a car wash and save money on gas. Any recommendations? Or is there any chance of finding that key? read more
