I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a cafe con leche. Cafe: Strong but very good taste! Very similar to La segunda Kennedy. 9/10 Cuban: Nicely toasted with thick cut pickles. Great amount of roasted pork and fresh ham. One of the best I've ever had and definitely the best in the USF/north Tampa area! 9/10 Open Sundays but closed M/Tues No complaints! I think I'll try it for breakfast next time since I usually don't like having coffee after noon.

Tables weren't being cleaned. Was told a 15-20 minute wait for a table...was more like 40 minutes. Got coffee while we waited. Again, took like 15 minutes, but was very good. When ordering, was told they had no pork, which goes on their Cuban Sandwich, the "award winning" sandwich they are known for. Not sure how this happens when it's your "thing". Took over an hour to get food. The side salad was not good. It had lettuce, a few shaved carrots, and that it. The burger and chicken cordon bleu sandwich were good. Place will be good once they get their act together.

Finally! A cozy cafe with an ambience like no other place in Tampa! I was so excited to try out…read moretheir coffee. They have unique flavors and blends that are absolutely delicious. The cafe itself was easy to find. Parking lot is large and easy to find. As soon as I walked in, you can sense a feeling of calmness and peace. They played classical piano instrumentals and it honestly gave me the best experience. This says a lot about a place because it's not just good coffee it's also having a quiet clean cafe that's good on the eye. And the music ?- YES ! Now the coffee. I can simply say after traveling all over the world and being incredibly picky with my coffee, Lunar coffee is 10/10 and rated the BEST in Tampa. My go to spot now.

I should have stayed... and soaked up the zen vibes. But I had errands to run, for my third and final Christmas party (I know, in mid January) (!), so I dashed. But this just means I have to go back. Lunar Coffee is in the end unit of a two story building, with a big gorgeous tree out front. It's shady and peaceful- you forget busy 56th Street is right out there. There's a private parking lot with lots of spaces. It's a little tight-and there are lots of businesses that share that lot. Don't let it scare you off. It's worth it. The shop is so clean-with lots of table seating and some high counter seating at the front. There was soothing music on when I was there, on a cool Thursday morning. There were lots of customers but it didn't seem frantic or hectic. It's like everyone just leaves their stress at the door. You feel it sort of roll right off you. I had the most pleasant gal take my order. She was very sweet. I should have asked her more questions about the treats I saw in the glass case and about the menu. I should have taken more time. Now I know better. There's a lot to like here-and I'll be back to enjoy it.

Love Yemeni coffee and tea…read more When I found out they have a store in Tampa. It was on our bookmarked of places to have a snack. Coffee and tea are amazing with the pastries and milk cakes. Place is nice - having both indoor and outdoor seating We went around lunch and place was busy - many are college students studying Must try their honeycomb and rose milk cake. Also got some to go for the airport - pistachio ricotta cheesecake and their spring addition- banana crunch matcha. So good. Will definitely come back when we are in town.

You feel like you're on vacation in the large, well appointed space. You can work, scroll, dine, sip or just chill out and scroll at one of the many high tops, tables or couches inside. There's also a large, sunken courtyard outside (right next door, a few steps down. I love the look and location of it.) I'll return to test out all the seating options and report back. But back to this first visit: I couldn't find a menu online ahead of time, so I walked in with a blank slate. They had a menu next to the case full of desserts. I settled on a Yemeni-style hot chai tea and a divine pistachio pastry, with so many flaky layers, sweet honey and a delicate pistachio flavor. I also chose a high top by the window, to enjoy them both. It's such a great environment in here-busy and bubbly but not loud. I can't wait to soak that up-with a different tea and sweet treat. The trip back will be easy. Qamaria is at the corner of 56th Street and Fowler in Temple Terrace, in a brick strip mall... with a huge parking lot, leafy shade trees at one end and lots of other middle eastern delights to try out, in that same plaza. Prices seemed fair, service was fast and it was very clean. Looking forward to grabbing one of the colorful cushioned seats for a reset, soon. Cheers!

There are a ton of baked goods that smell SO good, I unfortunately did not order food, but next time I sure will! The service here is awesome, Cameron is a sweetheart and really funny and fun to talk to. If you need suggestions Cameron is more than willing to help there. For my coffee I got the specialty spring break in Tokyo, iced which was a nice light refreshing drink that I thoroughly enjoyed but the menu has a lot of options which makes it really hard to pick. The boutique items while few are super cute, from clothes to cat clips, pins, stickers and jewelry, definitely a lot of fun to dig through. For seating they have a good amount of seating, but the place does get filled up quick. There is also very little parking right infront but there is overflow parking in the lot next door. Too bad this cute little gem is so far away from me, if it were closer, this would definitely be a go to spot for me!

You'd never guess busy Fowler Avenue and all those shiny new businesses are just steps away. This is free-spirited, relaxing and zen. You can study here, chill-out and reset. It's colorful and very sunny, but it would also be the snuggliest place to sit while it's raining and just sip away and read. There are so many drink and food options here. I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. And the service is friendly. I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll be back to try the apple fritter croissant and soak up more relaxation. Happy days from Felicitous!

But that's fine, a lot of people apparently are seeking such and that's exactly what you get here: a sizable space that could easily be small restaurant but as they have it is one large room with plenty of space to sit at a table, smoke a hookah, play cards, drink Turkish coffee or tea, and gossip far into the small hours of the night. There is space to sit on a patio in front of the coffeehouse as well on nice, pleasant, nights. This is a real, bona fide, Middle Eastern-style coffeehouse. It is where men--and yes, mostly men--gather from the early evening into the wee hours to meet with friends, smoke, and play cards. The dark Turkish coffee and tea fuels these deep into the night card games. When I was here it was mostly middle-aged men--a lot of them taxi drivers I have to presume because numerous taxi cabs were parked in the parking lot. Some college-aged dudes, too. But everyone was drinking coffee, smoking hookah, and playing cards. It's brightly-lit so that you can see your cards and not like an Americanized hookah bar designed to be part of a varied night of bar-hopping. No, not at all. This is a place to come for a good portion of the night and you'll find establishments like this all over the Middle East, Turkey, and Maghreb. With some variation, you'll find them in Iraq, Iran, and Eastern Europe, too. But again: this is the real deal. They had Warda on the stereo. Nearly everyone was speaking Arabic. I don't smoke, but I do appreciate the culture of this place and am glad it's here. I don't think they serve food however I saw people bringing food in from Green Land Restaurant next door, which I think is owned by the same folks, and that seemed fine.
