Good morning on 10/17/2021, I went to the 7-ELEVEN store to add $380.00 to my CHIME debit card, as many times have done it before. I did tell the cashier that I wanted to deposit $380.00, I know they charge a $4.95 fee and she asked me to swipe the card to pay, when I did it showed in the terminal *Bad read* she asked me to swipe it again, I wipe my card and I swipe it again and I got the same error, she asked me to swipe it again and I did, but I got the same error, the cashier got frustrated and she took the debit card out of my hand without asking and type something in the computer (I could not see) and she swipes it about 10 times, I asked her to stop but she didn't.
Then the machine printed a receipt and I asked if it went thru, she swipe it again twice and this is when another receipt was printed. The cashier *Chassity* gave me the receipt and I thanked her, I went home and check my account, I saw a charge of $384.95 and a deposit of $380.00. I realized they charged me the amount of $384.95 and they deposited $380.00. I went back to the store and I explained to her what happened, I showed her the receipt and she snapped it out of my hand, then she check the computer and told me there was nothing she could do about it, I asked her to reverse the charge and she told me the manager was not available, I asked her to contact him and she did, she put him in the phone and I explained the situation. The manager's name is Jacob and he apologized for the situation, he asked me to come back the next day (Monday) I agreed and left. When I came back home, I found out that my brother in law had passed away unexpectedly and we started making arrangements to fly to New Jersey, I could not come to the store the next day, so I went until Tuesday, I spoke with Jacob and I explained to him I was the one that spoke with him on Sunday, he told me right the way, he was waiting for me on Monday and I did not show up, I told him that I could not come and he told me the cashier was not over and there was nothing he could do about it and take it up with my bank, I told him this was a great inconvenience and the cashier*Chassity* started saying that it was my fault and she became argumentative, she will not stop saying that I swipe the card too and it was not her fault and other stuff. I told the Manager of the store Jacob this employee had a terrible attitude with customers for no reason, I did witness this in the past. The manager asked me to stop and I left the store. I file a report with my bank and waiting for a response. I am a manager for an important company and it's extremely sad to see how people you hire to take care of us customers will treat customers the way Chassity treated me, it seems that she has her Manager's protection and she will not change. My Claim was closed, since the manager of the store stated *the issue was handled* it has not and nobody is helping me. I home you reach to me
