I'd rather go to a bay where I can do it myself and make sure it gets done right. However, the car wash here has always done the job and got my car fairly clean. Sometimes the line is INSANE though. The coffee is your typical gas station cup of joe. However, they have quite a few flavors, different creamers, and one of those "cappuccino" machines that spits out hot water and powder mix to provide a super sweet drink. Originally I was really impressed with how many coffee items they had, but for the most part it all ends up tasting the same. I'm a fan of getting a strong coffee and then filling the last 10-20% of it with the french vanilla cappuccino. It replaces the cream and sugar for me and it's pretty decent. Generally the employees here have been grumpy. I worked at a gas station for two years and I freakin' loved it. No, I'm not joking. But for the most part the employees here aren't very concerned with the customers. It makes me want to get behind the counter and give everyone a big, helpful smile and to tell them to "have a great day!" Some things just stay with you, I guess.

We're here to stay the night in the truck. The lot is paved and huge for rows and rows of big…read moretrucks. As we were entering the store a guy standing by the entrance asked if we were truck drivers and then asked if we had any free showers on our rewards card and if he could have one. Entering the store, I noticed that it is a much smaller Flying J than what I'm used to. It did have the usual snacks, soup, hotbox, deli, drinks..it also had vehicle merch., shirts, crystal ornaments, caps and other such items. So you could shop a little. There was a messy discount bin in one of the main aisles and the drivers lounge is filled with boxes of merchandise. We ate at the Denny's inside this establishment and got a drink to go at the Flying J. The cashier waved us over to her register then completely ignored us when we was talking to her. My husband asked for a receipt and she was already waving over another customer. Ring em' up and move em' out kind of thing here. I didn't appreciate that at all.
