Mural on exterior rear wall.
Shane C.

So this location is a typical 7-11 store on the inside, but I gotta say it has the most eye-catching exterior I've seen for a convenience store: three of the walls are painted with a continuous mural. The motif is kind of a cosmic/spacey deal, and it's fun to look at. Anyway, you'll find all the goodies you expect to find at any location: Slurpees, of course (yum!) hot coffee and donuts snacks--candy bars, chips, nachos etc. cold food--sandwiches, salads, wraps etc. hot food--taquitos, hot dogs, pizza etc. lots of drinks including beer and wine various tobacco products various lottery products household items--detergent, toothpaste etc. various medications random merch--sunglasses, caps, gift cards etc. There's a Redbox video rental kiosk in front of the store, and an ATM inside. No gas pumps at this location, but there is a gas station across the street. Today is August first and the temperature high is 105 degrees, so I had to get a lemonade Slurpee, which really hit the spot. Also tried a steak and cheese taquito which, while not great, was fine as a quick snack (definitely better with a bit of hot sauce).

Love the 9lb ice; 3 3 LB bags each individually wrapped for yummy freshness ;)~

rating: 2.5/5 i…read morereally wanted to like this place more than i actually did. i found them on IG and loved the aesthetic they were giving. honestly, top-tier marketing because it convinced me to come try it. walking in, it looks cute at first... cozy, nice setup, very on-brand. but the energy felt kinda off? like it was trying to be warm and inviting, but somehow felt awkwardly quiet and a little stale at the same time. not sure if it was the lighting, the layout, or just the overall vibe, but it didn't feel as welcoming as it looked online. the barista was kind and got our drinks out quickly, so no complaints there. but the drinks just weren't hitting. i got the banana pudding matcha, and it was super milky and lacked that rich matcha flavor--the banana part didn't really come through either. overall, it just tasted kind of bland, especially for almost $20 for two drinks.

The housemade banana pudding was so good!! Tastes more of banana bread than banana laffy taffy, and there's real banana chunks inside * Mocha $6.50 - recommended by the barista and my friends said this was delicious! The chocolate flavor is closer to cacao nibs or dark chocolate, so it's a deeper flavor that's not too sweet. My friend said he could drink this in one go without putting it down * Bumble Coffee $6.50 - this can be made with OJ or cranberry juice and we chose OJ! The OJ tastes natural (like it's housemade but idk if it is) and the coffee flavor is light. You get hints of honey at the end! * Rosella Tea $5 - I looooved this. The flavor is fruity, tangy, and somewhat citrusy. There were hints of lemongrass that I really enjoyed! Unfortunately couldn't try any of their pastries bc they ran out :( Open until 10pm on Thursdays - Saturdays!

First time here and omg I love it! We ordered a latte, black coffee, and the "Hot as Hell"…read moresandwich. grilled chicken, mango habanero hot sauce, jalapeño jack, on grilled french bread The grilled chicken sandwich with cheese had a little spicy kick and was so good -- 10/10. The staff was nice and helpful. Inside has a cozy old-school style, and they also have a patio outside to sit and relax. Plenty of parking in front too. Come check it out -- we'll definitely be back to try more sandwiches!

Love the car theme! Please note: street parking Drinks: Vietnamese nitro coffee -not your traditional Vietnamese coffee except for the condensed milk aspect. It had a light bubbly/airy texture and taste, compliments to the nitro brew. It was still pretty good but don't expect traditional bold taste of a Vietnamese coffee. Pistachio mocha -Mind blowing and delicious, definitely a different pistachio profile than what I've tried before. Sandwiches: Bay Area brisket -quite delicious and juicy which paired well with the stretchy cheese, don't forget to pull Squealer -great mix of flavors with the added crunch from the slaw -pulled pork was perfect Overall: great place to try a hardy grilled cheese or get a cup of joe!

Hidden gem energy with a sandwich that almost spiritually attacked me…read more I genuinely was not expecting one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in a doctor's office building, but here we are. Roast & Grinds is tucked inside one of those professional medical office suites near the IVF facilities, and honestly? It's such a clean, cute setup that it immediately caught me off guard in the best way. The location feels polished, calm, and super professional without feeling cold or sterile. My husband actually found this place after specifically hunting for a good sandwich spot, and thank God he did because this sandwich changed the trajectory of my afternoon. The two girls working there were incredibly nice from the moment we walked in. I asked for a sample of the pastrami before committing, and instead of acting annoyed like some places do, they happily gave me one. The second I tasted it, I already knew I was done for. Then they heated the sandwich up fresh and absolutely put their foot in it. Now let's discuss the real plot twist here: the pepperoncinis. WHAT are they feeding those things?! Those were the hottest pepperoncinis I have ever had in my life, and somehow it made the sandwich even better. It was the kind of spicy where you pause mid-bite and reconsider your decisions... and then immediately go back for another bite anyway. "Hurts so good" is honestly the only way to describe it. Everything tasted fresh, the bread held up perfectly, and the whole experience felt surprisingly elevated for a tucked-away little café inside a business suite. Also, small detail that I personally appreciated: being connected near medical and wellness offices while still serving genuinely fresh, satisfying food just makes sense. It feels intentional instead of greasy or slapped together. Parking was easy, the entrance was simple to find right on the corner, and the whole experience was smooth from beginning to end. Only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want to try more of the menu before I fully marry myself to this place emotionally. But trust me: I will absolutely be back for that pastrami sandwich and those violently delicious pepperoncinis.

Mama needed some baked goods with her girl…read more I needed the fruit pastries! I haven't been to this location. It was cute inside and gave light, friendly, and stay for more carbs. The lady helping pick out pastries was patient and super helpful. Pro tip: don't arrive to late if you want the good pastries on the weekend. Definitely recommend.

I've been coming to Estelle's Bakery & Patisserie for years since I used to live only a block away,…read moreso it became one of my favorite places to walk to for tea and desserts. I've since moved out of state, but during my last visit in January this year, the treats and drinks were just as delicious as I remembered. This was always one of my favorite spots to spend a few hours catching up with girlfriends over tea and pastries. The ambience is lovely and gives off fancy tea party vibes, making it perfect for casual conversations, book discussions, or just relaxing with something sweet. My personal favorites are the rose macaron and the mont blanc desserts. If I'm feeling hungry, I usually order the ratatouille, and the vanilla bean French toast is amazing when I want something sweet but filling. Matcha is always my go-to drink here too (though it's on the sweet side, so I don't think it's ceremonial grade). I remember my first visit; It was when I stopped by later in the day looking for a birthday cake for my son's 8th birthday about five years ago. I ended up choosing their chocolate mousse cake on a whim since it was one of the cakes they still had on display, and it turned out to be a good decision. My son loved it, but it was too chocolatey for me so he ended up having most of the cake. Still one of the memories I remember most from here. It was something I kept in mind that if I wanted more options and variety, I should arrive earlier in the day. There are a few downsides that keep this from being a full 5 stars for me though. The parking lot is very small and street parking can be difficult, especially during busy hours. The place gets crowded very easily, which is why I usually preferred walking there when I lived nearby. There's often a guard stationed at the front kindly holding the door open, though I imagine that's also due to the neighborhood. Pricing is definitely on the expensive side, but honestly that's fairly expected with a patisserie. My biggest issue is that service can noticeably decline when they're overwhelmed. Depending on when you visit, the line can get absurdly long (almost out the front door), and I've experienced slower service and even had my drink mixed up with another customer's order once. Since I order oat milk due to lactose intolerance, getting the order correct is pretty important. Thankfully, when the bakery isn't overly busy and adequately staffed, the employees are attentive, friendly, and very helpful with the ordering process if you have questions. It is still one of the Sacramento bakeries I miss after moving away. It was so lovely to have a bakery down the street from home.
