I regretted ordering food pretty immediately, as I watched the staff prepare orders while I waited. In the unreasonably long time it took for a hot dog, fries, and hamburger to be made, I witnessed two embarrassing altercations between staff members, and saw a staff recovering from a nose bleed with a tissue in one nostril (and still behind the counter?!). The fries and microwaved hot dog were fine, but the hamburger was inedible. My friend described it as the worst burger she has ever had. We honestly weren't sure if it was beef. This place is clearly a tourist trap. Unfortunately, we didn't have Internet at the time to be able to check Yelp. Maybe the ice cream is okay (we didn't try it), but stay away.

I do not live near Courtney but have considered flying in just to get some of the donuts and cinnamon buns. Anyone who goes to the area I highly recommend stopping in. The only possible negative aspect is the limited hours of operation and that there is always a line up. But the line up is cause they are so good that hordes of people go and not cause of slow service. They also have great beverage selection both hot and cold. Their London Fog is in my top 5 and I consider myself a London Fog addict. I am glad I do not live near by cause I would end up being like 400lbs if I had easy access to it. So good. I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

They are prolly better and definitely more interesting than Tim Hortons. I see a bigger jump in the local ice cream shops than with Bigfoot and other donuts. The dough needs to hit this light and fluffy sweet spot for me. Maybe I was spoiled on other spectacular specialty donut shops so I'm a harder sell. Good quick service and long lines everyone else thinks they are the bomb so you should def try it out. And I'll retry them again and update this review depending on how it goes.

But they had lots of sweets and other savory kitchen goods, including some from the UK and Germany for good measure. Knowing what I know about "dutch directness", I take this as a positive sign that they are the real deal!
