My first rule of thumb is never get off the highway in Miami unless there are severe circumstances…read more Well today was one of those days as I was running on fumes and pulled into this Shell gas station against my better judgement. Thankfully, it was not that busy. The pump fueled quickly and a receipt was provided without entering the convenience store. Aside from gasoline, which is priced .20 higher then a few miles north, they offer a drive thru car wash for a fee. Without messing around, I quickly got back on the highway northbound.

The car wash wad great, great price and gets the job done. I have a little issue while I was getting my car served but a really nice attendant came to assist me. You can use the machine that is located on the side to pay for the service. Cash only transaction. Again if you need help there is a bottom in the machine. The food mart has a great selection of snacks, food, beverages and ice. Great customer service overall. Price for gas is a little high but is really convenient for the location.

We were looking to clean the car from the road grime and were looking for a car wash in the area and while waiting at the traffic light, although not listed in the Yelp app, we were able to see on the sign that they had a car wash. We stopped and got in line and went and purchased the standard car wash option for the automated car wash machine. Although we waited for quite a while to get the car washed, the machine did an average job of getting the car clean and getting us ready for our next adventure.

Today, I got gas like usual, and a few minutes later, I got an email from my credit company. I am just posting this so people are careful when getting gas at the pump.

As soon as you walk inside the gas station you will notice the Krispy Krunchy chicken. The chicken comes in family meals and pieces. I ordered a 3 piece dark meat with french fries and a regular biscuit. They also have chicken cracklins, chicken tenders, Mac n Cheese, Jambalaya, Rice & Red Beans. The chicken looked fresh and it surely was. Very fresh and flavorful. My fries was eh it was too big. Season well but the fries are huge potato wedges and was cold. I really enjoyed the soft fresh honey biscuit, super delicious. They also offer food delivery by third party (UberEats,DoorDash etc.) I would definitely return here for the chicken. I really enjoyed it and found it to be a convenient fast food meal to grab. Much quicker service than stopping to a Popeyes or KFC. Highly recommend!

Ok, so YELP, sends me a message if I can write a review on gas station I visited on Friday, so here…read moregoes my review and maybe then YELP will finally grant me my elite badge again so I can attend all the fun events with my yelp friends" As I was stuck in Hallandale Beach rush hour traffic, facing a torturous 1.5-hour journey through the wilds of South Florida traffic with a gas tank on its last breath, I had an epiphany: I'd better refuel before attempting this automotive odyssey! Lo and behold, a Chevron oasis appeared on 15 N Federal Hwy in Hallandale Beach. I pulled in, saw the gas price rivaling NASA's rocket fuel costs at $3.58 per gallon, and thought, 'Well, I guess I won't be retiring early.' Filling up was smoother than a jazz saxophonist's riff; no credit card gymnastics here, just a secure electronic reader. However, the only catch was having to petition the clerk for my receipt, which turned into a golden opportunity to explore the convenience store's snack kingdom. It was a clean, well-stocked haven, with employees refilling shelves like grocery store ninjas. And then, like stumbling upon buried treasure, I discovered Zingers (3 pack), paired with a sugar-free Red Bull for that extra rocket boost on my way home. At the checkout, I met a sweet, smiling clerk who must have moonlighted as a mind-reader because she had my receipt ready, like she'd known me for years. In the end, this place fulfilled its gas station destiny, sprinkled with the joy of interacting with genuinely friendly people. But alas, I can't grant it a Michelin star because it seemed to have a fan club of sketchy characters lurking outside, the kind who might ask for spare change. Safety concerns aside, here's hoping my review fuels your next pit stop decision!
