I gave him my information, and he informed me that there was a 20-minute wait. I suggested that we could sit on the other side of the bar, but he said that they were closing that side because they were closing soon (in two hours). I noticed that they had tall tops, and I wanted one. He said that he could make that happen. While he was huffing and puffing and cleaning some tables, which were all standard height, he finally told me that my table was ready and it was a regular table. I was surprised because I had been told earlier that he could make it happen when it came to the table I requested. The greeter then told me that the side with the high tops was closed, so I had waited 30 minutes for a table. I could have sat at the bar, but Maurice wanted to go home at 6 p.m. sharp, and he had no recollection of what he had said. I was disappointed with the service and the lack of attention to detail. I hope that Tipsy Beans finds a new person to greet and seat customers. Maurice was not the right person for the job.
