Cashier keeps toilet paper rolls behind the counter so you have to ask for it before using the restroom. After the gentleman in front of me asked for some toilet paper, the cashier told him, "Make sure you buy something." The young man replied, "We are, we're pumping gas right now." When I got to the counter, I bought 5 bundles of firewood. He handed me the key to unlock the crate of firewood. Since I had my car keys and wallet in one hand, I could only bring one bundle to my car the first trip. The next trip I brought 2 bundles of firewood to my car. The final trip I brought the last 2 bundles of wood to my car (so there are a total of FIVE bundles in my car). I locked the crate back up, gave the cashier the key back, and thanked him. He proceeded to tell me I took 6 bundles but only paid for 5. I told him that I paid for 5 bundles and only took 5 bundles. I also asked him to come look at my car and see that I was not stealing. He repeatedly told me, in front of other customers, that I was stealing wood. I asked him several times to come see that I am not taking any more than I purchased and he refused each time to come check, yet still said I stole one bundle of firewood. He never apologized for accusing me of a crime that I did not commit. read more
