They grind the beans to order, so you get the freshest cup of coffee possible! There's so many different ones to choose from. It's a good-sized room and nearly every seat was taken but we found a pair of upholstered chairs and a table in a corner. They've done alot of work on the space and it looks great...and I know that their main focus is on the coffee, but we were not thrilled with the hot chocolate: it wasn't hot (merely warm-fish) and it wasn't very chocolate-y, either, and we were surprised that it wasn't better. Champagne Chocolates, just a block or so away, would have been a better choice for us...but we did enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance at Black Cat and we'll be back to sample their coffee on our next visit.
