This location is terrible. The people behind the counter is rude, short, and ignorant. Not customer focused and I will never go there again. If I ever step foot in this store again, it's too soon. Do not shop here- Also, they have expired food and fruit. Just a bad spot. Crystal Lake can do better. We deserve better. read more

I've been going to this 7-eleven since I moved down the street a few years back and lately they've been getting worse and worse with their employees, today I went to get a 15 dollar gift card for Xbox and i got ripped off the first time, and the second time as well, it's saying the code is not yet active, I have receipts, the first time I didn't even get in ringed up by the cashier, and the second time I payed the 15, activated it, but it's still not activated, I'm no longer buying any sort of gift card from this location going forward. read more

I live right down the road so I stop in multiple times a week. Every employee has been great, and they always keep the line moving the few times it happens to get backed up. I've never felt like I was kept waiting unusually long which is nice to know when I just want to grab something quick. read more

Ever since the new owners took over the store is getting dirtier and dirtier. My wife refuses to go in because of the bad odors. I always stopped for coffee every morning but no longer. The crew forgets to clean the pots and the coffee area is filthy. read more

The Dr. Pepper from the fountain tastes like medicine and the pizza tastes like cardboard. Although the people are always nice to me but they will follow you around if you are a teenager and look like someone who's gonna steal. Also pretty overpriced. read more

Just Recently on 4/15/16 my husband and I went in to the 7 Eleven at 1024 McHenry Avenue and my husband bought a green energy monster and I bought two Cherry Vanilla Pepsi. 7 Eleven had a deal going for Cherry Vanilla Pepsi at buy one at $1.69 Get one for $1, which was fine. The problem arose when my husband went to buy his monster. The guy working the cashier, Vince, over charged my husband for his can of monster. The monster should have cost $2.92 after tax and the cashier ended up charging my husband $3.69 for it. Not only did Vince Overcharge my husband for the Monster but he also didn't print out and give my husband a receipt. When my husband walked back into the store, Vince said he could only print out the last three receipts and couldn't print my husband's receipt since three people had walked in since we had left. My husband placed a call to corporate to see if anything could be done about the fact that he had been overcharged and corporate basically sided with the employee saying he did nothing wrong. I'm very disappointed in 7 Eleven and this is one of the prime reasons my husband and I don't shop there anymore. Corporate should have done a better job looking into this issue and guaranteeing my husband the issue would be resolved. read more
