First time at this coffee shop and absolutely loved my Mufawaar Yemini coffee. This is a single…read moreorigin coffee where the beans are from Yemen and fresh roasted in house. The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. This is so good it is actually worth going out of your way to get it!

Stellar, fantastic coffee, and Qamaria provides an attentive mail order experience. This is a very…read moreopinionated review, but based on 50 years of lucky access to very fine coffees, and ideally you will consider it more enthusiastic and informed than smug and annoying. We live on the West Coast, were looking for Yemini coffee, and fortunately found Qamaria's website, ordering the Gate of Yemen dark roast. The roast is lighter and less oily than a French roast, as it should be, with some oil in the beans appropriate to something called a dark roast. We would say that Qamaria not only skillfully but more importantly respectfully roasts for the bean. This coffee makes us very happy, with a good dark "round" and balanced aroma to the ground beans and the brew. We made it pour over, but it feels most appropriate to stove top espresso or traditional style. It has a very satisfying long tail. A pour with a plot. A touch of the right kind of bitterness. The bean crushes easily between the fingers and grinds up finer than the espresso blend that we drink pour over (45% French Roast using Columbian beans, 45% Italian Roast using Mexican beans and 10% dark roast using Indonesian beans). Qamaria dark roast makes a pour over cup that is thicker than expected, which we find very satisfying: it's a sort of the character of traditional brewing but in a Chemex. We like the surprising way that a slight, fine sediment sneaks through the pour over paper filters and spreads across the tongue. Next we will move on to other Qamaria roasts and blends, brewing on stove top. The price point kills us, but how does one settle for ordinary to save money, when extraordinary gives such pleasure?

This is my favorite Starbucks to go to!…read more Amy and Herb are super amazing and always helpful with creating amazing drinks. The rest of the staff is really friendly as well compared to some other locations I go to. Sometimes Starbucks seems to just want to get you in and out or get annoyed when you have a lot of drinks. I never feel this way when I am there. Even if I am stumped they don't pressure me to rush. The area is always clean also which is a plus. They can get very busy, but they try their best to be speedy but give everyone the attention they deserve for their orders. They are also my favorite because they usually have these cool themed drinks that I don't see in any brick and mortar Starbucks or even other satellite locations. I've been getting the same drink for a year now from their Valentine's Day special menu. Chocolate cover strawberry. Ask them for that I'm sure you will love it. They also never skimp on the cold foam. It's always the right amount for your drink.

The people here were very kind and helped explain that they do not take discounts from the app or emails because they are not a company store but honor all discounts, so we were able to get a bogo. I have never had an issue with the drinks tasting good. This time I got their Valentine's Day drink, a chocolate hazelnut cold brew with cold foam and cookies. It was delightful. It was pretty crowded here but they got the customers through quickly and then got the drinks out fairly quickly. I love that they always have a board with a secret menu drink that they created. I always take a picture of their recipe in case I want to order it later, I also try to post it in case someone else wants a fun themed drink. They have had Barbie drinks, the Grinch, of course Valentine's Day. So fun!

It was good, maybe could have had a bit more syrup, but it was hot and warming. I typically get my hot beverages extra hot at coffee shops so it does not get lukewarm too soon. We also tried the Glenda drink. My child wanted it blended. They would not do it, and said it was a set drink. Now while that might be true about the recipe, I know it is NOT true that they cannot blend it for her. I did not want to argue after a long day. But, if she really wants it blended next time, the recipe is their typical dragon drink and strawberry cold foam. So she could always get it without the sprinkles any time. I would probably come back here since it is in a good location, but very close to another Starbucks at Target which is also good. They typically have a fun secret menu board themed to current pop culture, so I would probably go to that one first.

I've tried going back to them to let them know how my drinks don't taste the same and they don't care to do anything about it. Now I know I will never go back there.
