The espresso was very flavorful and not at all burnt, like some of the other competitors in the area are known for in their coffee. This trip, I tried their chocolate chip cookie, and was a little disappointed. It was dense and heavy and the taste was not that pleasing to the palate. Perhaps it was just an off day - I don't remember the cookies from Lampost being this thick before, but my memory may be failing me. Regardless. I looked at it and discovered mold inside the burrito! As you can see in the photo, this was not a small or questionable spot it was clearly visible throughout the inside. Finding mold in food that I was served is completely unacceptable and honestly made me question the food handling and freshness practices at this location. I expect food from a business to be fresh, safe, and properly inspected before being served to customers. I hope management takes this seriously, investigates how this happened, and addresses it with their food preparation and storage procedures. I will not be ordering food from this location again.
