Yesterday was the final straw. Our daughter has been getting the same script for over a year but requires a new script each time. The script was called in Tuesday and put into "under pharmacist review". I didn't babysit it this time and let it do its thing. It finally went into "in process" status Friday. Saturday morning I went into the store to pick up another script and spoke with the pharmacy tech, asking if there were any blockers to getting it filled that day (explaining that due to the delay she had her last dose that morning). They confirmed there were no delays, the medication was in stock, and to come back after 2pm. Not ideal to have to come back, but ok. At noon the script went back into pharmacist review, so I called to make sure there were no issues. After being on hold for 10 minutes, she told me that the medication is not in stock, they won't be able to order it until at least Monday, and could not give an estimate of when it would come in. To expect anyone to go without their meds due to sitting on it for 5 days is ridiculous, let alone no apology or remorse for the delay. Enough is enough. We are moving our scripts to another pharmacy. They can keep their negligence, rude attitude, and delays.

She said they were not answering the phone, between being a short staffed and giving vaccinations they had no one to answer the phone. I can understand that but either change the phone message or have the phone answered someplace else. I have to speak to them to get my prescription due to how Walgreens handles the prescription.
