All the latte flavors are made locally so they are much better than typical bottled flavorings. I asked about the name of the shop since it's so unique. Kyra explained that nearby Harper's Ferry is the midpoint of the Appalachian Trail! They also stock local veggies, cheese, meat and more. They support the "slow food" movement which is the opposite of fast food! So, the name is related to the trail and their pashion for local, fresh and healthy. The custom blend of coffee, roasted by Red Rooster, is excellent, medium, rich and complex without being overbearing. It's not fruity but instead just a good solid coffee taste. The beans are sourced from Brazil. The shop is huge, spotless and well decorated. There is plenty of room to sit or stand at the coffee bar and enjoy!
