It was on the corner where I used to work (kind of) and used to live (nearby), and it featured prominently in a major incident. I was involved in a car crash last time my mother was here... I wasn't driving. My mother will be visiting this summer for the first time since this crash actually. We had a couple of people in the back of the car who were riding in, basically, the SUV trunk, illegally. Thankfully they weren't injured, but the cops were coming, so they had to hide out somewhere and it was midwinter and way below freezing. This gas station allowed the 2 in the trunk to hide out until the cops came and went, and we appreciated that because all kinds of people could have gotten in all kinds of trouble otherwise. And no I'm not worried about Yelp snitches... do whatever you want and I hope it helps you sleep at night knowing what kind of crap you reap on other people. :) But thank you to the wonderful employees here for helping us out, and even though your gas is usually too expensive as is your convenient store, you get a solid 4 for that. I've used this Kwik Fill probably 10 times in my life, usually when I was on my way to or from soccer at Sportsplex. I didn't like to use it because of the prices, but it is very conveniently located and it's not too close to any other stations in either direction, and it's also quieter than any others along NFB further south. I was last here about a year ago, and when next here, I'll take a pic (it'll last longer). This is a typical, average gas station just to the north of Amherst along NFB, as it enters North Tonawanda and Wheatfield. It has high-ish prices but is in an area that doesn't have too many stations, so it comes in handy, and used to do so often when I was driving to Sportsplex to play soccer, back when I lived right around the corner from here in Looney Acres.

The gas prices here were average which was nice, but what sealed the deal for me was the staff here. The station attendant was the most polite person we had interacted with in a while and before we left she had put a few smiles on our faces. The gas is usually either mid-price or slightly higher. I've purchased from here a few times over the years, including once recently when I also went inside and picked up a soda and candy for one of my BFFs that I was with. Very friendly service, typical gas station prices, and it has the feel of a little shop that is being run by a little family, which I appreciate and support. In any case, there are much worse places to pump your gas in these parts, and I like this station and the people working here.

Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. I've even had a sandwich from here recently when my favorite restaurant is closed down for a few weeks. Not bad at all. My previous review: I used to think this was called "Convent" and would come here looking for cute nuns, because I always wanted to date a Nun, but then who doesn't? I've been to this store many times, as I used to live right around the corner. Lots of cute girls shop at this store (Willow Ridge is the street of cute girls, btw), that is one of my defining memories. Another is that the prices are a little lower than you'd expect for a convenience store in a rich suburb, and they have some more interesting selections. It's a useful convenient store near Willow Ridge on NFB that sells all kinds of random stuff at typically marked up 7-11 prices, and helps the local community avoid trips down to Wegmans and the now-closed Walmart that was close by. It was exactly as the name suggests: convenient. With very friendly employees, too. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop.
