I am a portrait photographer from the beautiful city of Chicago. I’ve always had a passion for photography but I could never get myself to come out of my shell. I’ve always been socially shy, until being behind a camera gave me the confidence to socialize. I realized the joy photography brought to me and the people around me. I started my career as a photographer after losing my brother. The name of my company is 7.21 photos, which I chose because July 21st is my late brother’s birthday. This name is my tribute to him and I know that he would be proud of me for following my dreams.

Hi, I'm Symone Barlow (28) from Chicago, IL and I specialize in portrait photography. ​ I fell in love with photography as an awkward teenager looking for something to help me stand out more. Now photography is my profession and as an awkward adult I have that same hope, to stand out more. ​ My photo shoots are usually outdoors in a beautiful park or botanical garden because I know that being a subject in front of someone else's camera is awkward and being trapped inside someone's hot studio under umbrellas of light, is even more awkward. You are meant to be free, - except during Chicago's winter months...burr! - you are also meant to be yourself, and you are meant to have fun. I will just be creating wonderful images for you while you do all of that.
