I'm not that used to getting headshots taken (beyond the awkward passport + DMV photos) and was a little nervous at first. However, Jenny made me feel at home the second I walked into her studio. She really cared about my business, and helped me decide on poses and a wardrobe beforehand to reflect my goals (I am partially color blind so her help with picking the right clothes was essential!) She made me smile and cackle throughout the session. I felt so comfortable that I forgot there was even a camera in front of me. On top of that, her pricing is very reasonable and within my budget. She was very communicative throughout the booking/processing process and provided regular updates on the status of my pictures via email. I was over the moon with the final results and can't wait to get cracking on with my biz goals. Jenny is clearly talented with both photography and editing, but her biggest strength is her ability to make clients feel welcome and comfortable in her studio. That comfort came through in the photos she captured. My smiles and cackles were genuine. :) 5+ stars all the way. And I highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a photoshoot in Chicagoland!

Took Our Money and Disappeared!…read more We've hired Jenny Grimm several times before and always trusted her, which makes this experience even more upsetting. We paid her for a session over five months ago, and she completely ghosted us after the shoot. No photos, no updates, and no responses -- just silence. Meanwhile, she's still active online, posting about new clients and advertising her services, which makes it even worse. At this point, it feels like she took our money and ran. After years of being repeat customers, this is beyond disappointing -- it's dishonest. Please think twice before booking with her. There are plenty of other photographers who actually deliver what you pay for.

After they received their finished cards from me, they took some delicious looking photos of them for their blog. I loved them so much that I know that when the time came for new product photos for Tweedle Press, they'd be the first ones I would ask! First things first, though, was that I was 8 months pregnant and in need of some photos. Not the creepy, drapey, gross preggo photos...but some with my husband (and cats and stuffed animals, as it turned out...) that actually looked like us. Or...looked like me at the time anyway! They totally understood what I wanted to avoid, and set us at ease with a shoot in our home. The pictures came out really nicely, and there were none of me nude lounging in a tree with a handgun. Just this month, I finally got around to having Steve and Anne shoot some product photos for Tweedle Press and OH....MY...! They are so gorgeous I can hardly stand it. They did such a stellar job referencing some of the product photos I shared with them that I liked, but completely made them their own with the lighting, positioning, and backgrounds.
