It's a place where you can trade in games, DVDs, mobile phones and other electronic equipment. They also sell all of these things, with some great prices. You could spend £10 and come out with a lot of things if you hunt hard enough. People will so often discredit buying pre-owned items, but for prices as low as those offered by Cex, it's difficult to say no! This time, I just popped in for a browse, though I will be visiting there next time I want a cheap film or the like. I wonder how long it will be before someone trades in an iPhone 4? One can only hope...

Ever since my local Asda did away with the video game section to make way for Kids DVDS, I have…read morebeen coming to Fort Kinnaird all the way from Dunbar just to get my hands on video games. While it is slightly annoying having to travel 26 miles to buy a video game, a positive is that Fort Kinnaird is massive and I will be able to mooch around the other shops afterwards. This store in particular is one of my favourite Games as it is always well stocked with Nintendo, XBOX and Playstation games, as well as a small range of novelty clothing for those diehards out there. They also stock Yu Gi Oh and Pokémon cards too if you prefer to play cards with your mates and not stare at a screen with your mates. The staff are helpful and are very smart, seeming to know a lot about the games on sale. Except on one occasion I enquired about the Wii U and was left alone for ages while the person went into the back room to ask about it, never coming back. I am excited for the release of the new Pokémon games and I will probably be the first person in line for when the store opens on November 23rd! xD But anyway, Game is a good shop for those video game nerds among us and I hope it never leaves its post here at Fort Kinnaird.

As soon as we walked in I was surprised at how bright and fresh this branch of Game is. Usually branches of Game are fustier than a tramps undercrackers but this one was crisp, clean and organised. I get the impression that the managers and staff here are completely on the ball and much more customer friendly than their counterparts in other stores. We were even approached by a guy working here who was super friendly and asked us if we needed any help - something I've never experienced in any other Game shop where you usually just get looked at like an imbecile if you ask any kind of question. This is a pretty large branch, they have a great selection of games and a lot of pre-owned ones at reasonable prices. There was a titanic mystery game that caught my eye but I also noticed possibly the worst game ever made, an OK! DS game that is essentially just an electronic version of the shittest magazine ever. Why?

This little book store is what I imagine other used bookstores wish they could be. I don't even want to buy a book there because then it would disturb the order of things. It's small but perfect for a bookworm to read a book in the corner and enjoy being surrounded by books.
