First, lets just get this out of the way... Babies, and white carpet do not mix. Ever. My house was built with white carpet, and I believe that this is quite honestly the worst decision that any home builder could make. That aside, I am so glad to have found out about Tyson's company. He actually did my mother-in-laws house the week previous, and they were really happy with his work, so I called him to have him do the white carpets in my home that had been destroyed by our maniacal milk and juice wielding babies. I was genuinely disgusted with how the carpet looked and forewarned Tyson that it probably won't come up but that I would appreciate if he could just do what he could to get it as clean as possible. He seemed confident that my expectations would be surpassed, and they seriously were! Tyson and his dad were in and out in just over an hour, and my carpets went from looking dingy and tired to literally looking brand new. I was completely shocked. So was my wife! I don't know what kind of voodoo is in that little rotary brush cleaner that they use, but whatever it is, it's powerful. A few things that I would like to share that made this experience even better (other than the super clean carpets) -Tyson, and his dad are super friendly. I stood there chatting with them throughout the process of them cleaning the carpets. -They are clean people that actually care about making sure they do a really good job. -They don't mind explaining what they're doing, or how their processes work. -Lastly, they were fast, and efficient, and the prices were super fair! Unfortunately I did not have as good of an experience as other yelpers. My dog ripped up a 5x4 inch of carpet at my rental. Upon move out I called 5th element. The carpet is old and particularly worn at the damaged site (right at the front door). The carpet the tech used to repair was about a half inch taller and did not match the color. I was optimistic and said I would inquire with the property manager to see if it would work-it was unacceptable. I called back to see if they could trim the carpet or had any other techniques to fix it. They said they would try but would have to charge me another $100 (if I remember correctly) flat fee to correct the work that they did that didn't match in the first place. Frustrating and a waste of money I ended up clipping the carpet down myself and dyeing it to match for a lot cheaper. read more

Tyson came out this morning and did the carpet in my new house. We had been painting and tracked a trace amount of white paint on our brown carpet. Tyson who was promptly on time, and texted when he was on his way, very professional. He was able to get the majority of the paint off the carpet, other than the deep mashed in paint. He does everything by email/electronically, which is very convenient. He clearly cares about his clients and doing a good job. Would have him back! His work is always great, He has come back to do minor touch ups is stains have come back, His prices are phenomenal compared to other similar vendors, He is honest, respectful and really professional. He has come and help me with mayor water extractions on holidays and weekends. He has always shown up when needed. I will recommend his services to everyone I know in Sacramento County. I searched carpet cleaning through Groupon, and Luckily landed here ! Tyson was able to get me A very quick appointment. Because I had some pet stains, it would require some extra treatment. He did not try to sell me more than what I actually needed. He thoroughly explained what the cleaners and chemicals and solutions were doing and why they would work to get rid of pet odors. He was not wrong! The place smells fantastic. He even offered to pressure wash my filthy back patio. I feel like 5 stars isn't even enough to express how happy I am with the results of my carpet and sofa cleaning; major kudos and thanks to A Better Carpet Solution! They have certainly earned their name in my book. I researched several local companies, comparing their prices and reviews. I found their initial price to be slightly more than other companies, but don't stop reading yet, they were worth every single penny I paid and here's why: 1) I can't express how good of a job they did. I wish I took before and after pictures, because they literally saved my sofa. I thought it needed to be replaced, and there was no hope for cleaning, but decided to try anyway. I am so glad I did, because it looks almost new; and on top of the normal wear and tear dinginess, it had denim stains, which is no easy job to remove.... oh and did I mention the sofa is WHITE?! My carpets had a couple tough stains, one being some mixture of oil and curry.... totally gone now! 2) They didn't nickel and dime me once they got here, which I feel makes their slightly higher up-front price not only justifiable, but even more comparable in the end, and also a relief to have a no-surprise and honest estimate from the get go. 3) With most things in life, you get what you pay for, and this is no exception... they offer a great service at a very fair price. 4) The customer service was top notch, and they really went above and beyond the call of duty on my sofa especially.
