We put in our order and walked across the street to a nice park so the kids could play while we waited the 25 minutes. There's no place to eat inside, so it's to-go or delivery orders only. Coming back to get our order, we had a few minutes to chat with the man at the counter. Very pleasant and offered some treats to the kids (after asking us first if it was ok). The younger man who brought out our order ran through everything with us to make sure it was correct before we left. Now on to the food, which we ate in the car on our trip down 71. It was fantastic! We got a cheese, a pepperoni, a deluxe, and a small salad. The salad had lots of toppings and was your standard pizza place side salad. The pizza had just the right amount of toppings, and was baked well. The sauce was semi sweet and thick, which went well with the pan-thickness of the crust. My husband and I were happy to find that the mushrooms on the deluxe were fresh, not canned. The whole pizza, from the flavor of the cheese, to the bake on the crust, gave us a feeling of nostalgia in the best way. If you're looking for pizza and you're in the Ashland area, I highly recommend this place!
