We drove through this small town after visiting some of Mallorca's beaches. We tried to get a…read moretable and were shuffled around with half hearted smiles. We figured we'd stay for dinner rather then drive around looking for something else. The food was good, but the service was far from acceptable. We tried to wave down our server several times and were ignored. We received fake smiles and they didn't seem to want our business. I would not recommend this restaurant to any visitors to this city. Hopefully they treat their locals better.

When we first arrived, we asked for a table for 12, and were told it wasn't possible--even though the restaurant was half empty. We even offered to split into two tables of 6, but were still turned away. We tried again by having our Spanish speaker ask separately, and a different waiter agreed to seat the group. As soon as we all walked in and sat down, the same staff member who had denied us became visibly upset and, in a very sassy tone, said "those are the same 12." She then told us we had to sit in the back if we wanted to stay together, so we moved. Moments later, she changed her mind again, insisting that because we had a baby, part of the group would still need to sit separately. At that point, it was clear they simply didn't want our service, no matter how flexible we tried to be. After being shuffled around and treated so rudely, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointing and, frankly, felt discriminatory. Families and larger groups should be aware before coming here.

However the restaurant is small, it seems the business tries to keep it busy & excessive tables. Believe that makes it hard for the waiters to properly serve the customers. Food portions are large, main entrees could easily feed 2 people. Olives were good, usually pretty hard to fail olives. Calamari was amazing, perfectly seasoned so no sauce is provided or required. Steak was good & did not require any additional seasoning. Now the fries were less than desirable. Meat balls mediocre. Overall good food, provided your waiter doesn't look track of you!
