What's better than dining Italian, and partying Italian?
It's obviously eating Italian and partying Spanish!
Based on these two statements, i'd like to start my review for the newly opened Italian Restaurant, Osteria Pane e Olio, a piece of original italian in Palma de Mallorca, offering only the finest italian dining experience, with fresh home-made pasta, and a cook with over 15 years of experience in italian Cuisine.
I had the chance to speak with this culinary genius, Emanuelle Ghedini, and boy, he knows his cooking. Born and raised in the small city of Bondeno, Italy, he reached out and expanded his cuisine here, in the Balearic Islands.
My first meal here, were the meat filled Tortellini, and yes, after boasting home-made pasta, i can wholeheartedly say that he was not lying. The freshness of the serving was unbelievable and the serving itself, was more than generous, it was a well ballanced mix of Gourmet and Quantity that can not be so easily denied, even by the most elite of reviewers and the pickiest of diners.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Some might say yes, some might say no. But how about love at first bite? To settle the argument all you have to do is enjoy a meal here, and who knows, find your answer to the first question too.
The restaurant is decorated with traditional, rustic Italian furniture to improve the dining experience even more, there is no old mixed with new, just old, just like the good old days.
But of course, a dining experience isn't given solely by quality, design and reviews. The waitress here is very skilled, and will stop at almost nothing to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and assist you in any way to improve your stay.
Another great advantage of eating here is the placement, merely 5 minutes away from the beach, it's situated in a very fine zone of tranquilty, where noise is no impediment for you when enjoying the food here.
I did mention it's delicious right? It is.
It's delicious.
I'd like to continue with this review, however my order of Gnocchi de Patata con Bacon y Nata has arrived.
Mind over matter, George...Mind over matter. read more
