This lets me plan my meals based on what I'm getting that week. There is no subscription. It is cash only. I have tried many produce services and 5280 comes out shining every single time. I appreciate that there's no subscription- you just sign up a few days before you'd like to pick up your box (ex: sign up on Wednesday or Thursday for a Saturday pickup). The sign up is a very simple Google Forms on their website. You can choose from a small box or large box. Each box comes with approximately 6 fruits and 6 vegetables, give or take. Occasionally there's a package of moldy strawberries or the lettuce wilts quickly but that far outweighs the value and variety for the price. Their service is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They have a seamless system down for COVID where you drive up, pay, and they put your produce directly into your car. Awesome! Note that they only accept cash right now. They also have random local goods for sale that you can add on to your usual box. Some examples are honey, green chilis, bbq sauce, bacon and granola. 5280 Produce is a team of rockstars. I was in search of a way to save some cash on my food budget and then came 5280 produce! I get a box every week and usually add a few things. I often get the meat bundle which i love! The are usually very friendly (but to be fair... the get up real early I'm not sure I'd be perky all the time either!) and always fast! You guys. 5280 Produce is one of the best kept secrets in Denver. Seriously, this place is a fantastic local option for cheap, fresh produce. If you're like me, the idea of a produce subscription box sounds great in theory, but never ends up working out: you don't wind up using everything in time, deliveries come too frequently/not often enough, there's too long of a commitment, etc, etc. 5280 is the perfect solution- they do not require a subscription, so you can pick and choose when you want to order a box whenever it is convenient for you. They offer two different sizes, small ($18) or large ($25), and each week brings a new variety of fruits and veggies. They list the items and their quantities weekly, so you always know what to expect. Although they do not currently offer a delivery service, there are two different locations where you can go to pick up your subscription box- 5280 Produce itself, or Wheat Ridge Poultry & Meats. This is incredibly convenient for me as I live right down the road from WRPM, which also has more convenient pick up hours (9-6 Thurs-Sat and 10-4 Sun). As such, I've never actually been to 5280 Produce, but the one advantage is that they have add-ons/substitutions available there. If you pick your box up from WRPM, you will not be able to do any substitutions. Pro tip: if you do order your produce box for pickup at Wheat Ridge Poultry and Meats, they have told me that the easiest way to place an order is actually through WRPM's facebook page, so they can assure they have the right quantity of produce boxes available. 5280 Produce accepts orders through their own facebook page and their website, however, the employees at WRPM have mentioned that 5280 is not always great about sending them updated order lists. read more

Like said in other reviews, this is a best kept secret of Denver. I come every Saturday morning and load up on my fruits and veggies. The small box is perfect for one person and makes me eat my veggies and experiment with new recipes so I can use what was provided. There is always an array of different vegetables and fruits so you don't get bored. I also love how you can pick up some things on the side as well ( I always grab some lemons) and then my produce is done for the week! For $18 this is a STEAL, cheaper than any other place that sells produce for sure! read more

This place is great! I have suggested it to so many friends. $25 gets you a fresh mixed produce box once a week, no subscriptions, no automatic deductions you buy as you need.
