Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. There was a lady who used to work there when I first…read morestarted keeping my things here and she was in and out but always 100% helpful. Never had a problem with her. Now there's a lady there named Mary. I had an outside lot and an inside lot. I sold my boat from my outside lot and called the office to make my payment. Ofc as always no one's there to answer the phone. So I left a voicemail stating I called to pay and also no longer needed the outside lot beginning that day. So last week she calls and leaves a voicemail that her family member passed and the office was closed blah blah blah. So I called back this morning to pay my inside lot and also to tell her I will not be paying the outside lot since the day I sold the boat. So she proceeds to tell me "no I'm going to put it as today". So I replied "I called to let you know the day I sold the boat and that was almost two weeks ago. So no I'll pay since that day. The office was closed bc you had a death in the family, I'm sorry but also not my problem". So she continues to tell me that I NEVER verbally let her know in which case yes I called the day I sold the boat. And also that there was no death in her family and she has NO IDEA what I'm talking about. I said "uhh I have a voicemail of you saying that". So she told me to come show proof and have a good day. So now I'm irritated. I won't be continuing business there and I'll be getting my few things out of my inside one but this is the second incident she's done this. A few months ago, I again called to pay bc if you pay online you pay an extra $10 per unit which is insane. Which she also told me wasn't in there and it is lol. So I left a voicemail bc surprise surprise she wasn't there at 330 pm. So I call again a few days later and try to argue the late fee bc I called on time. So she says "I tried to leave you a voicemail. You never returned my call". Well I had no voicemail. So I let her know. And she continues to say "oh wait I remember you I've been calling you over and over again and trying to leave voicemails but your phone isn't letting me it's full or your phone was cut off". One my phones NEVER once been cut off and I believed her until I asked my dad and a few friends "hey do you have trouble calling me or leaving voicemails". Nope they don't. Soooo clearly not an issue with my phone, my guess is she probably never called bc I got every other call from every other place but Mary. HONESTLY UNTIL SHE LEAVES DONT USE THIS PLACE. You never know when they're at the office to go pay bc they leave early or their kid was off school or whatever other excuse she has. Then you call and they're not there either. But hey here's a $10 late fee per unit bc you didn't call or come here to pay. Yeah and pay online to pay an extra $20 either way. Nope. It's cheap but I reckon you get what you pay for !!!

We received our pods and had them unloaded in three days in December 2025. Pods kept telling us they could not pick up last pods due to trucks being down. Now two and half months later they charging us retail on that pod for month of December. I do not recommend this company for moving and storage and give them half a star. Pay by check if you do don't use debit card as they will take your money without your knowledge. Will never use this company again!!!!

The…read moreClearwater corporate offices are horrible people and won't take care of a very very big problem that may cause me my life. I'm a handicapped senior of 66 years old. I've been using and paying PODs thousands upon Thousands of dollars over the years since 2009. They are very very expensive but I went with them because of the idea of packing myself and not using a moving company which don't have the best of results. Today, my life is being threatened as PODs delivered the POD I had in their storage facility to an address that I was looking to rent. I had told PODs NOT to deliver the POD until I was sure I was getting the rental. I called them twice, I recorded the calls and they recorded the calls as well. They delivered the POD to the address of the rental that I did not get because someone else got it before me. I'm now in a wheelchair in front of the building where the POD is. There's a police officer ready to handcuff me, yes, handcuff me telling me if I don't get the POD removed from this property they will be taking me in the police car. I'm in a wheelchair I have spinal cord damages, never in trouble with anyone let alone the police and this may happen? I've called PODS cust. serv. that goes to Asian call centers, not in the USA. I called the # I got on-line to the "executive offices" whcih turned out to be a complaint center and they will not help me. They tell me they cannot removed the POD they put there in their error until l Monday, 3/21/25. Today is Wed. 3/19/25. The police office and the property owner will not budge and said if it's not removed today I will be in a jail cell. I've never heard of such nonsense but these people mean business and also do not care that I'm 66 yr old senior with spinal cord damage in a wheelchair; they just dont care. I'm all alone here, 8 hours from any family or friends trying to do thi move on my own and this happens. No one can help me at all. I will die in that jail cell for the next 6 days as I cannot walk or function without my handicapped things I need to live. Thi is the craziest situation I've ever been in and I'm frightened so badly I'm frightened for my life. I know this sounds crazy but it's exactly what is happening and I have it all on tape. I know I will eventually sue PODs and blast them on all social media but I need them to help me now, not 6 days from now and they just won't. How can they be so cruel and non-caring of another human being. Especially when I've given them so much business over the years. I beg all of you to NOT use PODs there are many other kinder more personable places that do what PODs does and they're more personal and not a non-caring money hungry conglomerate that PODs is. Update: corp. ofc Kimberly finally helped me but what pods out me thru was completely unacceptable especially since Ive been a customer for so long and spent thousands. I guess the little guy doesn't matter. I would go with a local mover next time for sure. I'm in er fm blood pressure going up so hi my leg blew up. dont need the added stress fm pods.

I have been a customer at your facility for over two years, renting Unit #4 since 2024…read more Unfortunately, my experience with your storage manager has been consistently negative. He is, without question, one of the most incompetent, hostile, and unprofessional individuals I have dealt with in a customer service setting. From the very beginning, his attitude toward us was rude and confrontational, and the situation has only deteriorated over time. It is extremely concerning that this individual remains employed while friendly and courteous employees continue to leave. Based on my experiences and comments I have heard from former staff members, I seriously question whether his behavior has contributed to employee turnover and ongoing customer complaints. The events of Saturday, June 20, 2026, were the final straw. The office hours clearly state that the store is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, yet at 10:00 AM there was no one present. The manager did not arrive until approximately 10:25 AM. Upon arriving, he abruptly told us that we needed to use the U-Haul app to obtain the van key. Unfortunately, the app was not functioning properly, causing further delays. By the time we finally received the key, it was nearly 11:00 AM. The manager either failed or refused to properly verify the vehicle's odometer reading before releasing the van. Because of his negligence, U-Haul is now attempting to charge us for 170 miles that we did not drive. Since Saturday, we have been trying to resolve this obvious error, yet the manager has been completely uncooperative. Considering that we have rented Unit #4 for over two years, it would take only a few minutes to review the facility's access records and determine when we entered and exited the property. Based on the time we spent cleaning out the unit, and assume that similar amount of the needed to clear out the truck, it is physically impossible for us to have driven 170 miles during the short period of we rented this truck. Instead of helping resolve an obvious error, he has simply insisted that the odometer reading is correct and has refused to investigate further. His lack of professionalism, unwillingness to assist customers, and complete disregard for resolving problems are unacceptable. As a long-time customer, I am appalled by the level of service I have received. This experience has permanently damaged my opinion of your company. I will never use this facility again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
