I thought I knew what Acupuncture was all about before I went to Krista. It's just needles, right?…read moreI was totally wrong! Fast forward to Krista Essler - she did nothing of what I expected. She actually listened to me and started our first session asking alot of questions about me and hearing me out on the issues that concerned me most. I decided to try acupuncture for chronic insomnia that I have experienced for most of my life in addition to carpal tunnel syndrome pain despite having two surgeries. Her advice and treatments saved me from taking prescription sleep pills and injections for pain which is the only thing doctors would ever recommend despite my fears of their potential side effects. I wanted to solve the problems, not cover them up with a temporary fix. Krista's methodologies include holistic therapy, nutrition, and supplements with acupunture to deliver real results. Her treatments and recommendations have been real game changers in dealing with my issues. She was able to identify triggers that contributed to my insomnia that I didn't even realize were part of the problem. She has incredible accuracy in finding the origin of painful areas and uses several different techniques to treat the areas. I also even enjoy going to her for a session to help me relax and de-stress. I'll just list some of the things that make her treatments different and more effective than other acupuncturists: 1. She listens to you and documents the history of what is ailing you throughout your entire body whether it's stress, pain, or chronic medical issues. 2. She treats the "root" of the problem and will do research to learn more about you. 3. She will do multiple treatments during one session if necessary (so don't expect your treatment to be a quickie). 4. She recommends foods/supplements that will actually help with your ailment. 5. She's truly concerned with helping you! Krista is a sweetheart and she's really there for the well being of her patients. She actively stays up to date about holistic therapies and treatments that are truly effective. She will even try these treatments on herself to test their effectiveness. I feel fortunate to have met Krista and I highly recommend her to anyone! Take the time to see her more than once. You won't regret it.

After 2 weeks of acupuncture I started to realize noticeable improvement. After a month, I had 80% use of my arms! Margaret was great! Explained the process and expectations really well. We talked it through and moved forward with an agreed upon plan. I now am able to do everything I used to be able to do. Tapered off to a maintenance program and all is great. Greg D

Margaret's 'presence' alone creates the space to allow the healing, but her motivation to ensure a treatment plan that's exactly what each person needs far surpasses what I've experienced from other health providers. She not only gave the most wonderful acupuncture experiences, she researched and shared information and made suggestions which have led to major lifestyle changes for me. I feel so much better! And I truly believe a big part of this is in thanks to Margaret Celli and Inner Light and Wellness Acupuncture.

I've used acupuncture before and it worked and it's working again. She's very professional and the office is as clean as a doctors office. As far as we're concerned, she's an expert on her field. So when we moved out here, we were hoping we can find someone with almost the same mastery, skills and competence although we understand that individuals will have different personal experiences. Suffice it to say that we all have different experiences when it comes to receiving services from these professionals. However, I have been going to acupuncturist since I was young so I am well versed with it. I can tell if the acupuncturist is an experienced one and who knows what he or she is doing or not. So when I went to an acupuncturist located in Linglestown, I feel like I was a human pin cushion and looked like a poor copy of a porcupine. I can feel the needle pain because the way it is placed on is only skin deep as opposed to placing it into the pressure points. However, I'm always a forever optimistic so I gave the acupuncturist a couple more tries, 5 times to be exact because I paid for a plan which was 5 + 1 free. I decided to ditch the last session and looked for another provider. I found Dr. Lee and she's amazing. She expertly placed needles into the pressure point. I don't feel the needle pain and she knows exactly where the areas that are connected where pain is emanating from. After the session, I felt a slight relief from the pain. From experience, my shoulder pain will take a couple of sessions before the pain is managed and in my case, I was out of acupuncture therapy for more than a year so it's like going on a reset. So on my second session, my pain has gone down a little further. Her office clinic is pretty simple, clean and well organized. There are two rooms for therapy. The larger room can accommodate for individuals who use wheelchair or walkers. The session usually takes about 40 minutes to an hour. She takes in insurance but you need to check out what insurance providers are accepted. In your first visit, you pay for the initial assessment and an acupuncture treatment. Make sure you wear loose clothes so she can easily access pressure point areas that needed to be treated. She pays close attention to where you indicate the pain is and she would also make sure that areas connected to it are also covered. There is enough parking so you don't have to worry about fighting for a parking spot. I highly recommend Dr. Lee. She doesn't need to give away any promotional and marketing materials to indicate that she's pretty good in her chosen profession.
