I just have to share yet another fabulous experience with Main Street automotive in Bandera Texas…read more I'll be honest... my trust in automotive shops was 0.0%, maybe even into the negative numbers. Definitely negative experiences. As a short background, I had a Nissan Xterra that sat for nearly 2 years of my driveway, because no one in Bandera could seem to pinpoint what issues were. I even had one shop tell me to "drive it until the wheels fell off", completely, disregarding the fact that this is my only transportation and my safety, and sometimes life, depend upon it. When I totaled my Ranger, I had been so impressed with the work that Main Street had done on it, that I took a huge leap of faith and put the total money into repairing all the mystery ailments of the Xterra. As a surprise for me, the mystery ailments weren't at all a surprise to Main Street and they fixed it beautifully. I always get my oil changed there as they do a bumper-to-bumper review of everything and I'm telling you these people do not tell you you need something that you don't. They will tell you if they see something that you can expect might need attention so you're not blindsided, unlike the other auto shop. They care about my safety. They did me so right on my Xterra when I was just in the worst spot ever. If you want an auto shop that you can honestly trust, I can't recommend them enough. If you live in Bandera, they are on 16 like you're heading to Medina on your left across from K and M auto. They are open on weekdays. They have quite a number of bays so if you make an oil change appointment with you they get you done quick. My Xterra has 222,000 miles on it. It's running better today than when I bought it at 170,000 miles. Thank you, Main Street!!

It's a cool little place and the lady at the register was super sweet. My daughter got out to pay and told the lady how cool it was and she just had a cute little conversation- we love the Bandera area and will definitely come back just to support this cool spot!

Had a tire blowout on 46, coming into Bandera. Called my buddy with Lone Star Auto and Diesel, who suggested I call Tripp's. Talked to Cody on the phone. He bent over backwards to help me. He stayed open late, let me bring the tire and rim in, set me up with a brand new tire, and got me back on the road. The price was MORE than fair, too. Cody and the team at Tripp's are the real deal. I highly recommend doing business with them! So much so, that I'm back here a day later to replace the remaining tire on that trailer because, well, it's quite overdue. Well done, y'all. SHOP LOCAL!

The Blue pkg, $40 a month. Asked for a refund to cancel, they short changed me. They can bill you they just won't refund you the right amount. Other car washes offer the ceramic spray also and they're still cheaper. Now can't even get to their website. Don't treat customers right, so they lost one, at least.
