Alex and Wendy have got two completely different personalities she is from England so it is just hilarious to interact with her because of the different cultures. They know how to bounce ideas off of each other to make the pictures perfect. When I got my photography session I was so very nervous but they have a way of just putting you at ease that within a few minutes you are just having a ball! They do not force you into poses that are not natural which is a huge bonus in my opinion and they learn how to get the best end results even if it's kind of unconventional. For example me I apparently would do a little duck face not realizing it and then I would giggle or I would smile that is the picture that Alex wanted to capture and I had no clue until I saw the pictures in the end and was just amazed. I would highly highly recommend them for any type of event, Christmas cards, whatever you are looking for at least go meet them and I do know that there is one negative review on here but take my word for it say they are a five star company.

There isn't a photographer who is so easy to work with, so professional, and provides such quality as Dave & Insight Studio does. Your business will benefit forever from their services and you'll never be disappointed. I could rant and rave forever about these guys. We've used them for over a year now, and before that at another company for years prior. 5 stars, absolutely recommend.

I won a boudoir package from Sierra (owner and photographer of Sierra Nevada Photography) in June and did it in July. I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect, but Sierra answered all my questions to ease the nerves. The day I went was actually a really dark day for me, but those photos showed a different side of myself I have never seen and really wanted to embrace. I didn't bring a lot of clothes and I was stiff and still nervous, but Sierra was nice and I ended up being comfortable enough. In August, I purchase a mini session with Sierra and her partner in crime, Cass (she does modeling and they own their studio together). I was more comfortable this round and brought more clothing options and really stepped out of my comfort zone. I talked more while I got my hair and makeup done (that was included in the first shoot too), and was really open to posing and what Sierra and Cass wanted to do. It was a lot easier the second go around because I knew what to expect. Sierra knows what she's doing, but is always open to ideas and different poses. Cass was fun to hang out with too! I love all the photos that were taken and Sierra does amazing editing. Each session portrays myself and how I felt in that time and they're amazing. I plan to go back to Sierra at some point in 2021. I definitely want to do a Spooky boudoir in October, but will look into one earlier in the year. Go to Sierra, it'll be amazing! She had an Instagram as well: sierranvphotography

From the very start Matt eased our worries - he was communicative, kind, and personable. Scheduling a session was easy, and Matt ensured we came prepared. He was punctual and scoped out the area before we even started (after making the drive to Tahoe because I had my heart set on the lake!) His lighthearted humor and clear posing directions made us feel comfortable, and we ended up having a lot of fun (so much so that we truly looked forward to our graduation session with him a few months later)! The pictures came out beautifully, and we can't thank Matt enough for capturing moments we will treasure forever.

I submitted a request directly through her website and Alexa responded very quickly with all the information I needed to know I chose the right person. She included upfront session details, prices, and her upcoming availability. A couple quick emails back and forth and we were booked for a maternity/newborn package for the upcoming arrival of our 2nd daughter. Alexa was great to work with and super flexible on dates. We needed to reschedule our early November maternity/family session due to weather and our newborn session also needed to be moved since our daughter arrived early. We booked a lifestyle session for our newborn pictures in our home and I decided last minute that I also wanted to do a session at her studio which she gladly accommodated the next day! Our sessions were the week before Christmas so I was incredibly impressed at how flexible and accommodating she was! During the actual shoots, Alexa was calm, friendly and patient as we tried to get our rambunctious 2-year old to cooperate. I'm so grateful for how helpful and professional she was during the whole process. She had great posing suggestions and the pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. For all 3 sessions, we received our pictures within a couple weeks of the shoot. We even did our 2 newborn sessions right before Christmas and she sent our pictures before New Years Eve even though one of these was also a last minute add on!! I will definitely be using Alexa again!
