When Paint Nite was only available in Toronto, I was bummed! A bunch of people, head to a…read morebar/restaurant, and paint a picture together while drinking! What a concept! Well I guess good things come to those who wait because Paint Nite has finally made its way to London and it was just as much fun as I expected. Now, I love art. I'm no artist. But I love drawing, painting, and creating. So this is right up my alley. However, Paint Nite is perfect for anyone who can draw a stick person, to the Mona Lisa. When you purchase your tickets online, you can see what painting you will complete that night, and the difficulty of it, which is a bonus. Use the coupon "PNLondon" when ordering! The Paint Nite session I attended was held in a room above Fellini Koolini's. We were given aprons, a water cup, a brush, some paints, and a plate to mix it on. The painting we did looked a bit different than the one online but that was only because it really could be left up to interpretation. I'm sure some paintings are more concrete in nature. The instructor was really fun and entertaining while keeping us on task. She also had an assistant who helped with getting more supplies for the painters. There was music in the background which made it fun because the playlist was filled with songs we all love to sing along to. The drink service left much to be desired. After I was seated, my drink order wasnt taken even though he dropped off some drinks next to me. I ordered a water and he forgot about it. I wont hold the drink service to Paint Nite, but that was the only part of my night that could have been a bit better! I recommend Paint Nite for a group of friends or even coworkers as a team building or bonding experience. What a fun time! I cant wait to do it again soon. I hope I have enough wall space...

This was my second time attending a paint nite in London. I enjoyed it as much as my first time!…read more The instructors were amazing and break the painting down into easy to follow instruction. Great night out with the ladies from my work and awesome company with the other participants! Would recommend this to anyone who likes to try something new or has an artistic side (hidden or not) they want to let out. Even the most beginner level painter can paint a paint nite picture!

Not many museums are free but this one is (by donation) and it was an easy walk to get to. When you…read moreenter, there are washrooms to the left and a gift shop in front. The gift shop has homemade jewelry, housewares and trinkets, books, and wallets. They had a cute bicycle display with various items. The front desk was staffed and the woman working told us the exhibits were upstairs. We made our way to the stairs and there's also an elevator. Once on the second floor, there were a couple of doors and then a volunteer was seating there telling us where to go. The exhibit on the left was ok, not a lot to see but a few interesting pieces. My favourite was the paint workshop with cans all coloured with paint. We went to the other side and there was an exhibit of book covers and an Aboriginal one. The book covers wasn't so interesting but the Aboriginal one had old records and cylinders that recorded conversations and songs. There were some sofas and a large window looking out to water and greenery. It was a lovely view. We spent an hour here and it was ok. They are going through some renovations but hopefully they can make better use of all the space.

You can spend as little as 1 hour to see their collection. Smaller parking area with a small parking fee to pay at the self-standing booth to get a ticket location at the museum pathway about 20-30 feet from the front door. Give a online donation of a few dollars to support them for future work. Pleasant to visit and comfortable.
