Farmer Joe Plants - Leaves all fell off in removing from being strongly taped on its side in the box

EMAIL sent May 21, 2025: NO reply since, + no one ever…read moreanswers the phone. The WORST customer service! Only 1 plant has survived to date. "Hello Farmer Joe, Yesterday I received my order of 7 miniature rose plants. It was sent by priority mail in an USPS Priority Mail cardboard box. The box itself was crushed a little, but the worst was when I opened it. First, I noted 6 plants had been been packed on their sides, with the 7th taped to the top. There was soil & dead leaves all over, spilled inside the box. I had to hold the box in its side to remove the tape without damaging the plants any further. Second, the plants had been taped into place as well as ntogether with packing tape. Besides being extremely difficult to cut & remove the tape from the individual plants, the tape had picked up some of the spilled soil, making for an extremely messy process. Third, only one plant had an identifying label. All others either had no markings, or the name or just one letter written in some type of marker on the tape. So I really could only identify 2 of the plants. Fourth, the plants look pretty beat up, with what looks like dead leaves and buds. The plant that had been taped separately, on top or side of the box, had lost most of its soil, & looks nearly dead. I attached photos that I took after I got about 2/3 of the plants removed. Note that the box is in its side, as the plants had been packed this way. It took me about about 1/2 an house to release the plants. I have never received such poorly packed plants. The box was flimsy, and shoving in a 7th plant shows, to me, either a lack of knowledge or a lack of caring about the plants or the customer. I paid $24.50 for shipping, & expected the plants to be packed in such a way to minimize any damage. I can think of several other ways these could have been packaged, like even separating the individual plants. If any of these plants do not make it, I hope you will issue a refund or provide replacements. Looking forward to hearing from you."

Two or the plants may survive, the other 2 plants are just sticks. UPS was the shipper. Shipped on April 15, 2026 arrived on April 23rd even though the package was correctly marked with "Live plants" and in a package that should have been delivered in 2 days.

I have had an amazing experience with Canterbury Farms! I wanted to revamp my flower beds but…read morewasn't sure what exactly I wanted. Jamie was my designer and was a joy to work with. All I had to do was tell her I love Hawaii and she ran with it and did an outstanding job with the design. I am so excited about how wonderful it looks and it exceeded my expectations by far! Logan B (foreman) Logan C Tommy John was the group of professional, kind, hardworking young men that came to do the clean out and install and they also exceeded my expectations and did an amazing job! Thank you so much! I will recommend you guys to everyone I know.

Canterbury Farms is not very far from my home. I have been buying from them for many years and all…read moreof their plants are high-quality and they survive and thrive. I purchased a large magnolia tree from them and she bloomed two years in a row and then she hadn't bloomed in two years so I called them and they told me exactly what to do and I did it and within four months my magnolia was blooming beautifully. Most all of my flowering plants, my trees, my shrubs my fruit trees are purchased from Canterbury because they just have quality plants that produce. There are company that knows what they're doing and they take care of their customers. When you enter into the office, they have all kinds of goodies, jellies, jams gifts, and souvenirs and you're always greeted by someone with a smiling face and someone who is very happy to see you and to take care of you. I needed a specific plant identified and I brought a piece of it in and immediately the gentleman I was dealing with told me exactly what it was how it's going to grow and how to take care of it. I had an insect problem I took them a piece of the plant that had the insect problem. They immediately knew exactly what was wrong and told me what to use and I had no problems anymore. I trust them more than I do any of the big box stores. In fact, I'll only buy my vegetables and my vegetable plants from Canterbury Farms. They were very honest company and anytime you look at their plants. They're all clean and weed free and very well taken care of. I've gone to big box stores and see dead plants on display or for sale. It's like big box stores don't care how they display things. But Canterbury farms cares and they're set up is beautiful. They have plenty of parking. Their entrance is accessible by wheelchair or cart. The kids love to go there sometimes they have on Saturdays vendors that come and sell their vegetables and fruits and whatever's in season. They also have classes to help you learn about the plants that you have in your yard and how to take care of them. They'll educate you on fertilization watering and proper practices to keep your plants, healthy, and alive. I highly recommend buying all of your plants from Canterbury farms.
