They used to have a manager there who made baconated bourbon, he rendered bacon fat into it somehow, and they had this bacon whiskey cocktail and it was amazing. It was the best thing on the menu and almost always sold out. I was told that manager left along with the secret of the bacon whiskey so we're likely to not see it again. Bartenders could use some customer service training. They don't greet you. They don't acknowledge that they see you waiting. They pretty much ignore you until they have time for you which is behavior I don't really like. They seem to have more of an attitude of "I'll get to you when I can on my terms and then you'll tip me $2/drink because I'm an awesome cocktail lounge bartender and entitled to tips." Just looking at someone and saying, "I'll be with you in a moment" goes a really long way. They currently have four beers on tap: Virtue IPL, Stick Barn Schwarzbier, Happy Place Helles and Small Town Bock. And, are brewing up small batches that are released every Sunday. If I had to choose a favorite it would definitely be Happy Place Helles. I was a bit disappointed to hear that they do not offer flights so I recommend that you sample the beers before to ensure that you will like it before committing to a full pour. As far as the space goes, it is a bit smaller inside and it can get loud. I really hope that they get sound absorbers to help with that. Giant jenga and corn hole are no longer available to play inside, only outside, so visit on a nice day. I am excited to see what Mason Jar is brewing up next.

They do close early, and God forbid if you order your charcuterie tray at 7:00, and it takes more than 30 minutes to arrive...you will still be pushed to GTFO at 8:00 ! They would do well to offer a frequent buyer card and/or feature a couple of wines/beers each week at a discount - I mean, why not reward your loyal customers?
