This is NOT how you do business with anyone. Be courteous, be helpful, have a simple greeting or introduction, and at least act like you are remotely interested in running a professional business.

They patiently answered questions as the work progressed. The cabin was power washed, completely caulked, stained and sealed. We are so pleased with the work and result, as are our visitors who also admire their work and compliment the improvement. We hope to use them again in the future not just for painting, as they also perform remodeling and contractor jobs. We hired Allen Camp from Great American Home Remodeling & Renovation. Bad on us, we should have…read morechecked him out a bit more. He promised to correctly mount a stainless steel, country style, apron front sink for us and to supervise the entire job. We paid him half and he said he would have a subcontractor come out Thursday. The sub never showed. Then Allen said he would have the sub come out Friday at 9am. We told Allen not to come until the following week because we did not want him to stop during the holiday. Allen insisted on coming and promised to complete the job on Saturday. On Friday, the sub arrived at 1:30 pm instead of 9:00am as promised, he took out the old sink, cut a hole in the countertop and left. Allen said he would be back Saturday at 9:00am. When no one showed up on Saturday, we called Allen. He said that sub could not come on Saturday because" his daughter had choked on a taco." After we complained about not having our kitchen over the holiday as promised, Allen said he had found a better sub and he would be out soon. The new sub came at 1:30pm, instead of 9:00 am as promised. The new sub brought his wife, sick child, and a helper. They worked until 9:30 pm and left a mess. Most importantly, they did not get the sink installed and we found that they mounted the sink flush instead of under counter as per written instructions. It is important to note that although Allen said he would be there to supervise, he left as soon as he dropped off the sub family, walking out with a phone in his ear. When his sub began to ask us numerous questions, we asked Allen several times via text messages and telephone calls to come back and supervise the job. Allen refused to respond to our plea for help. We also asked the sub several times to read the instructions that came with the sink, but he refused each time stating either "I don't need to read that" or "I know what I am doing." When the sub began to cut the counter tile, he realized he did not have the correct saw. He called Allen for another saw and Allen delivered another saw an hour later. After trying to work with that saw, the sub said Allen brought him the wrong saw again and that he was going to go out and buy another saw. Getting the right saw took approximately four hours. As for the helper, he became agitated with the sub because he thought the sub was doing things "old school" and the sub did not take the correct measurements. Turns out the kid was right. But I didn't appreciate having to ask the kid to relax. Allen's crew also scratched my sink in several places during the partial installment and they left left sand from the grout and/or tile in the bottom of the sink which also scratched my sink. When we brought the above to Allen this morning, a fight ensued. Allen initially asked for double the money to complete the job and then quit when we refused to pay over the contracted price. Allen has half the agreed upon money, refuses to finish the job, and we are left with no sink, no disposal, and no dishwasher and with a mess in the kitchen, laundry room, garage and debris on our driveway. We also found out through Home Advisor that another individual is the owner of the business even though Allen holds himself out to be. I'm giving Allen a half star because there is no way to give no stars. RUN AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

On two of the 5 calls I made they scheduled a definite appointment to come. They were a NO-SHOW both appointment times. I had previously signed a maintenance contract that covered two visits. The day I signed the contract used my first visit. When they finally came out after 5 calls and two no-shows the tech installed the filter within ten minutes and left. They did not honor my prepaid visit. They charged me $218.25 including the installed filter plus he left one for next time. That cost is outrageous by any standards! There will not be a next time with this company!!! I have more serious complaints but it takes so much space to type them!!

When they replaced the trim on my house, I asked them to paint the new piece before they installed it. They didn't do that, and they got paint on my stucco. Very sloppy. After fixing that, they replaced a few boards on my fence and stained the whole enclosure. They didn't use a drop cloth, and they spilled sealant/stain all over my basalt. When I pointed it out to them, they said it would "wash off." Um no, it won't. It's designed not to. A few of the boards they installed also had holes in them and need to be replaced again. They said they'd come back and fix everything, but they never came back and now they're ghosting me. Go figure. So unless you have a job that requires little to no skill, look elsewhere.

I understand that after a certain amount of time, the circumstances might have changed, but refusing to go back out and verify that without another payment is absurd. Once I told them that I was ready to go, I had to wait another month before they finally told me that it would cost me another $100 to get them out there to verify the original bid, and they had no documentation of the bid other than some scribbled notes from the first visit. Go elsewhere. These folks aren't worth your time or money.

His team is not the best choice if you need design assist/suggestions. And be sure each aspect of the build is discussed and included in the bid, from positioning lighting to installing hardware. But if you're clear about what you want, they are a great choice. With them you get all three - fairly priced, excellent quality AND on time!

Not anymore, power as it were, now rests in the hands of the people. I needed 3 things; A dumpster rental, a quote and information regarding getting said dumpster to my house. So I turned to Yelp and used the quote system and at the ended up with about four quotes. But I had many questions, and Danny was very quick on the response, quoted me a fair price and allowed the dumpster rental for 20 days which was a BIG plus for me. Did I mention he answered my questions promptly? Look, I have dealt with the murky depths of contractors and callbacks...not a good time. Danny shattered my expectations and what's more, on the day of the delivery I had to check status of the dumpster due to working from home that day and having to be on a conference call I could not leave. Danny got back to me in minutes, contacted the driver and had the driver quote me an updated delivery time which I was able to coordinate with my schedule. Imagine that? Working with MY schedule...Great Job Danny. Bottom line, call Danny and see what I mean. I have some floor work coming my way in the future, guess who just put himself at the top of that list? 5STARS!!!

We had a slab leak that had to be repaired and…read morererouted through our ceiling, and in the midst of that we found out we had a leaky shower pan and a LOT of water damage. Danny came out and gave me a quote that was detailed, fair and easy to understand. We ended up having to rip out most of our master bath. (The shower floor, half way up the shower walls and an entire wall down to the studs.) I also had a few other projects around the house that I kept adding on, and Danny never minded and always reworked the over all costs for us. They patched the sheetrock in the ceiling and a 6 other places in the walls, completely re-sheetrocked one wall, demo'd our shower, finally sloped the shower floor correctly (it never drained properly before!), matched the tile/grout seamlessly, installed a new vanity, reinstalled a vanity in the guest bath correctly, fixed my back door, built a banister and took an old nasty crawl space under the stairs and helped me turn it into a "hidey hole" for my son. Having a one year old and going through a home renovation like this was stressful. Danny and his guys made it so much easier. They talked to my kid, waved at him, kept their work space as clean as they could during a demo..They were even respectful of nap times! We have to redo our siding on our house soon and Danny is the only one I will be contacting. No other quotes needed.
