Dr. Wendy Sweeney is an excellent Veterinarian. She merged her practice into Animal Hospital Of Linden (AHOL).

I do not recommend!!! I set out calling different vets to see if anyone accepted the spay and neuter certificate called friends of animals finally i called this place and was told promptly that they accept it... so i made my appt and went online and purchased the neuter certificate for $75. Day of surgery comes i get to the vet with the certificate and they tell me they don't accept the certificate so i had to pay the regular price and the $75 certificate i purchased went to waste as well they asked me the date i called so they can listen to their recorded calls but apparently since it was 1 month back they don't have the recording conveniently!!!! They weren't helpful with reducing the price or anything.... They really need to train the people who answer the phones so something like this doesn't happen again read more

Dr. Wendy & 4 Paws Veterinary Services are GREAT!!! Our 13yr old shepard was not feeling well and Dr. Wendy and her staff came to the house with a truck capable of doing on site xrays, operations, dental work, etc. The service she provided with her staff was top notch. She is a very compassionate Vet. She also did 3 follow up visits to our home to take temps and give additional anti-biotics. By her visiting the house, it drastically decreased the stress on our shepard by taking him in the car to a vet. Highly recommend Dr. Wendy Sweeney. She is the BEST! Dr Sweeney is a wonderful person as well as a fantastic vet. My wife and I were fortunate enough to find her through a recommendation by a neighbor. We had two pugs who were litter mates that we got when they were 6 weeks old. Magli (the female) went blind and developed leukemia last year and had to be euthanized at 14 years 4months. Bruno (her brother) is still going strong at 15 years 2 months thanks to Dr Sweeney. We can't say enough good about her, she is fantastic! She is as caring as she is talented! read more

I heard great things about this vet so I was very disappointed with my experience there. I felt that they overbooked and the customer service was not great. Reaching out by phone proved to be difficult, I could not get ahold of anyone to set up a pick up time (I was left with a rude voicemail informing me of the time I was suppose to pick up our dog but no one had confirmed anytime with us before that message) Once we were able to get our dog, we were charged the wrong amount (even asking at the time if the deposit was applied per their policy) Thankfully it was corrected... When trying to ask follow up questions after the surgery the staff did not seem supportive and were dismissive of our concerns. No infections but Unfortunately 12 days later (almost healed) the scab, where her incision was, fell off to expose that our dogs incision was not probably sealed. Had to go to another vet to get staples and wait an additional 10 days to take off her cone/bathe her. Would not recommend. read more

Can't say enough about how great 4 Paws is. Great doctor who seems to actually care about the animals. We took our dog, Jinx, here for her spaying a few months ago. The service cost half what other vets in our area quoted. They checked in to see how she was healing and her surgery barely left a mark. When my local vet was gouging us in pricing, we decided to try 4 Paws for her remaining vaccinations and a check on some stomach issues. The prices were less than 1/4 of our local vet. The vet actually took the time to figure out what would most help her and was honest instead of trying to get us to pay for extra services like our old vet. They even cut Jinx's nails for free both times we visited. I highly recommend this fantastic service. We will continue to trust them with our little girl's needs. Thank you so much!!! read more

Dr. Sweeny is fantastic! My dog has been a patient of her's for some time now and recently became sick. Dr. Sweeny was quick to come to my house and check him out. She showed genuine concern for his well being and she answered everyone of my questions with what she thought was best of my dog and not her $$pocket. Not to mention that her prices are great! The house visit I just had from her was under a $100! I will continue to use her for as long as she is around! read more

Dr. Sweeney and her team are great. This was my first time using her in home services as I have two cats that don't travel well. Unfortunately for me, my cats seemed to know something was up when she came to my house and were hiding and being very difficult to handle. This is unusual for them so I wasn't expecting it to happen! Dr. Sweeney and her team made me feel reassured and helped me to coax my cats into the exam. Dr. Sweeney and her vet tech assistant are an absolute godsend! First, they were running EARLY (imagine that???? A doctor that runs early!) and called to let me know. They were quick, thorough, kind and put my kitties at ease. My poor cats hate the car -- one to the point of panting and drooling where I fear he will pass out -- and having her come to the house alleviated all that. They forgot about the visit immediately. I truly believe having them in their own enviroment where they are happy an comfortable made all the difference. Will DEFINITELY continue using her services and recommend her to others. read more
