This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. Thanks to Yelp, we found the wonderful Trena! She immediately responded to our inquiry and came over for a consultation right away. Training began as soon as she entered our home, as she was quick to establish herself as a respected authority figure for our very friendly but poorly socialized (thanks, COVID) pup. She was generous with her time and training tips. We learned a little bit about her, which made us feel comfortable leaving her with our pup, as well as giving her access to our home. Trena has a calm energy, though is very active and athletic. We felt confident that she would easily keep up with our high-energy dog. We enjoyed our day away as our pup enjoyed his fun time with Trena. She sent us text updates when she arrived for each walk (three in total for the day) and was responsive to any questions we had throughout the day. She was also happy to do feedings and to distribute special treats and toys that we had purchased to keep our pup occupied.
