Thirteen Moons Acupuncture - After an acupuncture session with Donna on a day when she also implemented cupping into my treatment. Loved it!

It was time to try something new after many tests and treatments that didn't heal the problem. After weekly treatments with Donna I am starting to see drastic improvement! I was skeptical when starting but I am a believer now. Plus, Donna is wonderful! She takes the time to explain why the body reacts the way it does and really goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. 100% recommend!

Many of those currently "doing acupuncture" in Nebraska may be highly trained in their field of study, but have only between 100 and 300 hours of training in acupuncture. Licensed Acupuncturists, on the other hand, have a 3,000 hour, 4-year Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. "Doing acupuncture" and practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine are two very different things. When looking for a practitioner with experience, knowledge and credentials to back up a perfected technique look no further than Thirteen Moons. Donna Huber meets all of the credentials you should be looking for in a practitioner, and couples all of that know-how with a fantastic personality. Worth mentioning also, she's currently one of only six licensed acupuncturists in the state. This was my first experience with acupuncture and eastern medicine (though I've always been interested). I didn't have any specific ailment when I made my appointment, so just got a general 'tune up' treatment and afterwards I felt relaxed, energized... just fantastic. EDIT: After my second appointment, I'm even more impressed. I didn't even realize how stressed out and exhausted I was until after my 'spring tune up.' Also, I just happened to be having some neck pain, and that's all fixed up now too. Good timing on that visit. Make sure you take a look at the building on the 'About Us' page of their website so you can find it... the small brick structure is very unassuming from the exterior.

I have been to regular doctors, podiatrists, rheumatic specialists the works. I was filled with pills and physical therapy but still the pain persisted and throbbed. So I found his recommendation on here and set up an appointment. After the initial treatment my foot felt 'cooler', it's the only way I can describe it. It had just felt hot and very painful for a very long time. I've now seen him four times and on a scale of 10 I've gone from 8 to 1. I don't know how it works but it did all in two weeks. So if your a first timer, give it a try and if it works it works. He's completed 3,000 hours of schooling LA at a Chinese school of medicine including a 6 month internship. He has a proper medical license here in NE to practice medicine as a Dr. To become a licensed acupuncturist in Nebraska all you need is 200 hours of class, that's why there's so many poorly qualified chiropractors practicing this medicine. Hope this helps anyone out there who is struggling.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell that they are not only highly skilled but truly passionate about what they do. The session I had left me feeling better, more relaxed, and at ease, and I genuinely look forward to the next appointment. When I first went I had so much pain and tension in my back, neck, and shoulders. For anyone reading this, I want to emphasize that this is a professional, therapeutic massage service, and if you're looking for anything other than genuine relaxation and healing, this is not the place for it. The level of professionalism they bring to every session is unmatched, and it's clear that their focus is entirely on helping clients feel their best-not just physically, but mentally as well. My masseuse was Lily, despite the language barrier she explained to me via google translate what the coloring on my back meant. One of the things that has stood out most to me is how comfortable and relaxed I felt during the session. I've even found myself drifting off to sleep -- more than once! It's not just a sign of how effective their massage techniques are, but how trusting I feel in their care. I can completely let go, knowing that I'm in the good hands of Lily.
