With great owners and a huge supply of wedding decorations you also get a temperature controlled reception space (super important for anytime of year) as well as an indoor restroom and bride/groom rooms to get ready. My husband and I were married there in 2021 and we literally didn't have to spend one cent on decorations which is huge because what do you do with all those after the wedding is over? Decorate your living room? I think not, lol. The outdoor space for the ceremony was perfect as well as the indoor reception space which was air conditioned in July (there's also heat for weddings on chilly days). I attended my nephew's wedding at this venue this past weekend and was very disappointed with the…read morevenue's lack of follow thru. The couple expected horses in their stalls to greet the guests and there were none. My brother had to ask for the empty stalls to be mucked out because they stunk from 'a lot more than a day's worth' of horse crap. The horses were out in the far pastures and barely visible from the venue. It wasn't what we expected but it wasn't our worst problem. About an hour into the reception the bride and groom readied for pictures cutting their three tiered wedding cake. The cake had been set up in the air conditioned reception hall surrounded by beautiful cupcakes. When the couple stepped behind the cake, it and the cupcakes were COVERED in ants. It was a total loss, there wasn't a single cupcake or tier they hadn't attacked. The bride took this in stride and handled it with more grace than could have been expected. I was very proud of her! After the happy couple left and we started cleanup a venue person arrived. When told about the ants ruining the cake she asked if we were sure that we didn't bring them in with the cake. What a stupid thing to say! As if we would accept and set up an ant covered cake. After glancing around a minute she then said "We've only had this happen one other time." I wanted to choke her! There were no offers to reduce the bill or even a sincere apology. I'm not a person who writes many reviews but this experience stung! It was not all it could have been, buyer beware of this place.
