Our refrigerator started acting up (not cooling enough), so after trying a few ineffective remedies…read moreon my own, I reached out to Hooked On Appliances. Man, am I glad I did! Jason came out the next day and got right to work disassembling the fridge. He determined the problem (blown thermostat,) told me the plan and quoted a price. He told me that he could order the part (from Frigidaire) and it would arrive two days later, and he could finish up. My wife asked if she could get the part on Amazon, and he said sure, why not? So we got it overnight, and saved about $75! (the part cost $15 on Amazon.) Jason put the whole fridge back together and said it would work, but it wasn't fixed completely because it till needs the thermostat. But meanwhile we had the use of our fridge back. He came back the next day and finished up. Perfect work! I am thrilled with the job he did; I really like that he was so straight up about the cost. He quoted me a price and stuck to it.. He gave me an option to save some money (ordering my own part.) There was no upselling, not hidden costs, no games at all! Just good solid craftmanship. I am happy that now I have a reliable repair man that I can count on. Jason and Hooked On Appliances is highly recommended.

We bought two French door Whirlpool refrigerators from Good Deals salesman, Marino (very capable…read moreand honest), and saved a whopping $600 below Lowe's best offer....that is a large amount of money that can be used elsewhere. Someone might say, but did you get good service? My answer is this: THE FINEST SERVICE I EVER RECEIVED FROM ANY COMPANY. Here are the details: Our home had some very difficult openings through which to travel through, as these refrigerators were very wide, tall, and heavy. Having experienced an installation of a stove by Lowes that left much to be desired, I prayed for a competent person to install and transport these heavy refrigerators through doors that had to have the hinges removed and one fridge hauled away and another existing fridge relocated into another room. The fridge installer was not a kid but a polite, knowledgeable man who has been doing this for 30 years...his helpers were his two sons that were also excellent and worked like an organized, efficient team. This wonderful installer worked like a skilled heart surgeon. I have never seen such precision, know how, and speed. I would have to say he is the finest I have ever seen....and I am 71 years old! I would point out that Good Deals has local warehouses that are stocked, meaning that the waiting time is a fraction of any other appliance dealer. When you are in a hurry because your fridge just gave out, that means everything! I spoke to the owner who impressed me as honest and knowledgeable. Good Deals truly has good deals and good people!
