We unfortunately had an issue where one of our units was busted all throughout the summer heat and we couldn't afford to purchase a new one... I was particularly impressed by how they saw that the first new unit on the truck was dinked (I would haven't known this unless they pointed it out), so they sent it the warehouse for a replacement. They even clean up after themselves before leaving a job! I don't know if they are the cheapest HVAC company out there, but what they charged me seemed to be the going rate for this product and service. Finally, RAM Air offers a product called the Golden System, which is where customers pre-pay for 2 service calls a year. This is so worth the money. RAM calls me twice a year to schedule this maintenance, and whenever I have needed small repairs, such as a replacement thermostat, I paid nothing extra.
