I tried reserving a table for today on New Year's Eve by leaving a message but no one got back to me. I called again Tuesday night, Wednesday lunch time, and this morning at about 11 am, each time there was no answer. I figured we'd go out there and take a look. If they were open, hopefully we'd get a table. Fortunately when we arrived there were lots of vacant tables and outside the gentle sea breeze kept us cool from the warmth of the 31 °C day. The menu is pretty good in terms of variety with an all-day breakfast selection and a lunch selection available from 1130. I went with the fish tacos and a glass of pineapple juice. Of course the juice came in a mason jar (why I ask?). Fish tacos $19 Three soft tacos with house vodka battered fish, cos leaves, vermicelli noodles, Asian herb tomato, nahm jim, toasted peanuts, and crispy fried shallots. Each taco was bite sized. The battered fish was delicious and the extra crunch from the peanuts and crispy fried shallots was welcome. Mum and Dad each had fish and chips and I enjoyed some of the chips which were very nice and crunchy.

The patty was nice and big and all the flacours were spot on. Seating was right across the street from the ocean so had a very cozy and relaxing feel. Burgers are a bit different in AU than they are in the U.S. I've had a few now in AU where the buns were enormous abut the patties were half as big. Having eaten many amazing burgers in the U.S. and several in AU, I'd say Brad's is right there at the top of my list. We have a favorite Fish & Chips place in Redcliffe and now a favorite burger place in Scarborough. We'll definitely be coming back here next time we're in the area. Highly recommend.

Ok, but a lot of egg and limited taste variations. My friend ordered pesto scrambled eggs which was reported to be "yummy". Would I come here again? It's not unusual to have to blatantly flag down the staff members to just order, too. Again, the food sizes are generous and taste pretty good, so it's still worth it if you've got time to wait.

The latte was served in a cute glass with some cardboard to protect your darling little fingers. It was pretty good and I very much enjoyed it. Menu was simple but reasonable choice. Try the chicken or beef burger(s) as they are great - come with good chips. Corn fritters went down fast, too. Just loved it - good quality. There was band playing jazz, giving a very relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was good. Our dog was provided a bowl of water. Great spot to chat or relax away an afternoon. It is busy at lunchtime.
