Not only did Maryam provide everything I needed for the shoot (clothes, props, snacks, coffee, water) but she gave clear and productive direction. My toddler was present for the maternity shoot and I was so nervous that our pictures with him wouldn't turn out well because he was so impatient and restless, but somehow Maryam worked her magic and captured the most beautiful images. I did my newborn shoot just 2 weeks postpartum, on the inside I felt so uncomfortable having just given birth. I felt bloated and tired, and anything but beautiful but once again Maryam captured the most amazing images of my family. Not only would I use Maryam again but I would highly recommend her.

I was looking to have professional photos of my sweet pup, and from the moment we arrived at their studio, I was so impressed at how welcoming they made my fur-baby feel. Their conveniently located Cornelius place is both an elegant gallery and studio with beautiful props and backgrounds that will ensure your photo session will result in amazing photos. Everyone knows pets can be unpredictable, shy and/or difficult when trying to get pictures of them, but Greg and Stacy literally bent over backwards to get fun images using their photography skills and experience with animals. We had so much fun during the photo session, and I did not feel rushed at all. You can tell they truly love animals and want to do all they can to get gorgeous and expressive images of your beloved pet. I was pleasantly surprised that within a few days after the photo session, they invited me back to their studio to select my favorites to order with them. They have many options for you to decide how you would like your selected portrait(s) displayed. When I received my pet's image on the mounted wall art, it was absolutely beautiful! The quality and detail are stunning, and I love seeing it hung up in my home! (I ordered their Italian glossy acyrlic wall art product). I can't recommend Zook Photo enough for anyone seeking timeless, heartwarming portraits of their furry companions! Of course, they also do not just do pet photo sessions- but have several other gorgeous pieces of their photographs displayed in their gallery, too-  from couples, to families, to capturing bucket list moments and more. Whether it was Mal helping my wife while she was getting ready, or Alex helping close the tent walls during the reception and so much more. And none of that was their responsibility, but it certainly made a huge difference! We had so many people tell us just how awesome they were! When it comes to photography, Alex and Mal are hands down the best of the best. During engagement photos, they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had the most creative ideas for what would make the best photos. The same goes for our wedding photos and video. All three of them were very punctual and organized on our wedding day. At times, I felt they were doing more to keep everything on schedule than our wedding planner. Just like the engagement photos, the wedding photos blew us away with how amazing they turned out. Alex and Mal will always be our go to photographers for any future family events or needs! If you are able to splurge a little, definitely have Alex partner with Jorge for the videography. You will not be disappointed, and every dollar will be worth it! The video was amazing and we watched it over and over again the first week of getting it. Thank you all so much for an amazing experience.

Of all the professional photos that I have had taken in the past 10 years, never have I not been given the digitals (not expecting them to be free). None of my friends or family have ever not been given digitals either. Trust me, I asked all of them because I felt like I had been taken advantage of. It's 2022 people. Everyone likes to post high res photos to social media and make their own albums. No one wants to post a pixelated image with a giant logo on it. Posting high quality photos or making your own album will not be an option for you if have photos taken here... unless you pay thousands of dollars (not joking) and maybe they will throw in the digitals (what I was told). If you are looking to pay an arm and a leg for paper copies only, this is the place. Also you will have to go back to the studio twice (once to review and another to pick up the photos). The photos are beautiful, and clearly the photographer is talented. IMO a review of their business model and cost of doing business should be a priority for them if they are looking to retain customers.
