Her only response was that she could remake it for me, and it was said in a way that I told her to just take it off the bill. She gave a one word 'sorry' several times, in a manner that did not impress me. She took it off the bill, but the accidental plugged an extra $20 onto the bill. Again, one word 'sorry'. I left a message for the Restaurant manager to phone (who was off for 2 days and to his benefit called me back). Tonight I had the Sante Fe chicken dinner which is freshly battered and fried chicken breast tenders. The chicken was barely luke warm when it got to me and the portion was probably half of what it had been. The chicken was not crispy on the outside (like it had been in the past when we first started coming there) and there was very little buffalo sauce. The strange thing about this is the last time we went in the exact situation happened and the chicken had to be sent back. The last time they made fresh chicken, this time it tasted like it had been microwaved and sauce splashed on it. We are actually quite upset that we have had so many negative experiences here in the last few months because this really was our favourite local restaurant. We likely will not be back. Something has changed here and in my opinion if it isn't rectified they will lose other regular customers.
