The ambiance is friendly and busy, with people talking over coffee and dessert. They have a selection of teas and coffee, arrived in colorful, sometimes vintage, serving containers. The restaurant/cafe is located in a really cute non-touristy part of the city surrounded by cobblestone. The cafe itself is very quaint and homey. They two ladies there were so friendly and made our experience that much better. They helped explain everything and suggested beers. Now the pierogis... WOW! We had the italiano, Mexican, la chik and the boiled ones with meat. Out of the baked ones, La Chik was our favorite. The chicken was cooked so well & the cheese was goey and delicious.
