Their agent was beyond unprofessional. I was handling the appointment in the middle of a busy workday and work meetings. She came into my small condo with a loud voice despite me repeatedly telling her my baby son was sleeping. After seeing the window, I asked for a ballpark and she said $1000. I made it clear I don't plan on living here for more than a couple of years so I'm going off price. I picked the cheapest fabric and a couple others. No quote was under $2000 (more expensive than Shade Store). I told her this was double what we discussed and more expensive than the Shade Store quote so I wouldn't be moving forward. I started heading back to my room to run to a work call and she loudly demands, 'aren't you going to see me out?' I explained that I needed to return to work. I live in a 1000 sq ft condo and my nanny was in the kitchen by the front door so it's unclear why she needed a formal send-off. This agent had probably 50 feet to walk to get to my front door. She proceeded to get aggressive and loud despite my repeated asks for her to quiet down given my son was sleeping. She insisted her voice wasn't loud and proceeded to insult me. I kept asking her to please leave my home immediately and had to threaten to call the police if she insisted on continuing to cause a disturbance. The fact this woman is in Sales boggles my mind. Have some basic respect for a person's home and a sleeping infant in a tiny condo. read more

I do not recommend this business!! The remote control blinds are a joke. They don't charge for a decent length of time so I find myself trying not to open or close them. When they stop working completely 3 Day Blinds charge $94.00 to have someone even come out. Their customer service's attitude was short, rude and matter of fact. Design consultant in Potomac MD was (1) extremely rushed, (2) could not answer basic questions, and (3) never followed up. I was looking to get blinds for whole upstairs home. I noticed she was making measurements sloppily. Rushed me through the fabric samples. Only took about 30 mins total with me before having to leave to see another client. Questions I had in regards to the blinds - how does the hardware attach? What does the drawstring look like? Are the fasteners plastic or metal? She had ZERO clue and only was able to show me highly photoshopped photos on instagram with all these details edited out. I was still desperate for blinds so I would have tried to follow through with the quote and instillation, but I never heard from this lady again. Looking at the reviews, I probably dodged a $7K bullet. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before I was swindled by this company. I would never EVER recommend them to anyone. After spending thousands of dollars on blinds that fell apart in less than 10 months, customer service is totally ignoring us and refusing to answer and emails and phone calls. Our sales rep keeps making promises about replacements for the blinds but after months- it seems that she is just a sales rep that doesn't care after the check has cleared. Three of the five shades were delivered and did not fit. The installer cut them in his truck and cut them unevenly with threads exposed. The company remeasured. After a month of not hearing from them, followed by many phone calls they lost the new order. Three weeks later new shades were installed but were again cut unevenly. I am only choosing one star because I cannot choose zero. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in terms of both service and product. The roller shades are acceptable, but the faux blinds are garbage. They are cheap and covered in soot. The company has not upheld any of the appointments, and myself and my spouse have had to leave work multiple times to accommodate their untimely arrival. Ordered blinds in May. Installs failed three times over the summer due to the wrong size and then wrong product being delivered. Now being told the product is no longer available. It's been 4 months without them being able to provide what we paid for. Customer service is unresponsive to refund requests. I wish I had read the reviews from this year. The sales representative is unprofessional and did not follow up with after multiple calls. She did not deliver what was promised and tried to twist her words in covering up her mistakes. She did not measure the windows accurately leading to gaps between the edges of the window frame. Instead of owning to her mistake she gave reasons that she claimed she had explained in during her visit. Totally untrue and irresponsible. I was very specific about having shades cover the entire window and she assured that this will be done. She also showed me only two samples and on my ask she showed one additional. She said she spoke of the honey comb which apparently covers all the window but she again lied about this. I called multiple times but it either went to her non working VM or did nothing to call back except for one when I was on vacation. I told her I'll call her upon my return and send pics of the roller. After I sent the pics she again lied about what she never mentioned about honey comb and gaps that stays by default. She even said that my shades are not for blackout which was not my ask. I just wanted the gaps to be covered. The technician who installed the shades was helpful in explaining about the alternatives and even mentioned that it can be corrected if I made a timely request which I did. But that was totally ignored and because of the poor follow up this issues is in limbo. Need to improve on Service, follow up and get professional sales reps. read more

I had new honeycomb blinds installed by 3 day Blinds for my family room. They had to come twice to install them because the first guy said they were the wrong size. Now a year later the string in one snapped and they are not at all helpful in fixing them. calling them is nightmare. I used them because I was happy with Next Day Blinds which they bought. Be aware that 3 Day blinds will charge your credit card in full before the window treatments are installed. i understand 50% deposit, but to charge a customer the balance before the product is installed and inspected is very poor business practice. this company doesn't qualify for 1 star. my auto rise blind was ordered without a charger, so eventually the charge ran out and I'm unable to raise or lower it, one month now. the sales rep specifically said a charger wasn't needed. I've contacted the office multiple times, they ultimately sent the wrong one and have ignored me ever since. every time I call I get a different person. at least I do get a person who can speak English. (one star). my last contact did say "mistakes were made" on my former inquiries. but no response or charger, not even from the installer. the installer has been excellent, but apparently the company bureaucracy won't allow him to help in any way. the sales rep told me to call the number on the bottom of the blind! I wish I had read the 2024 reviews, this company has certainly gone down hill. I went with 3 day blinds because I read older reviews which recommended the company. this was the most expensive quote I received but the sales representative was good at selling the product and promising lifetime warranty. From the beginning I new the blinds were not going to arrive in 3 days, I expected 2-3 weeks...well try 2 months! and after that two same day cancellations! I mossed two days of work plus they charged my credit card for full delivery three days before the first cancelled installation. Customer service is no existent, you can not speak to anyone on the phone and it takes daily persistence for email response. They promise that a case worker will call and they never do. Consultant Alex G. came to my home did measurements and showed me a sample. However, a formal measurement was needed and required partial payment in advance. I paid $3541.65. Two days later (11/20), a formal measurements was done. Soon after, consultant G called and said "this guy's design we cannot do, not in the history of the company." "What are you talking about? this guy did not design but did the measurements". Alex: "you do not need to shout", "I am angry..." Alex hung up. I called the 800 number and requested a cancelation, after some struggle I finally reached Derrick Johnson who gave me a long speech and said the refund would take 8-10 business days. I waited from 11/20 to 12/4, no refund shown on my credit card bill. I called again and was told the refund was done on 12/2, I got a reference number. Up today (12/11), I do not see the refund. Called 800 number again, I was told that it took 7-10 business days from the refund day to show the credit. Apparently, Mr. Johnson waited at least 7 business days to process my cancelation as a punishment. What a company! read more

I never post YELP Reviews and, mistakenly, I never pay attention to YELP reviews. But I have to echo what others have said here. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in terms of customer service. While the installation went well a few years ago (when it was Next Day Blinds), now that I have a repair needed, it's been impossible to schedule. I spend forever on hold, only to be transferred multiple times, and then end up inevitably with someone who can't help me. I then have to wait for someone to call me back, but they never do. I've had multiple appointments scheduled: one they didn't end up having on their books and the other they went to the wrong address. Stay away from this company. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT USE 3 DAY BLINDS. Almost six months ago we ordered window coverings for our entire home. A month later they were delivered, but about 60% of them were incorrect. The installer stopped his work and referred us to customer service to sort it out. Our designer called and apologized, stating he was "freaked out" that such a large-scale error had occurred, indicating it must have been a glitch in the system and assuring us he would have our coverings re-made and expedited. About a week after that, he called again and had changed his mind, stating that he had referred to his notes, and the original delivery had in fact been correct (this was false). He agreed to approve the re-make after a few minutes on the phone, but quipped "we probably shouldn't actually be doing this..." That was in June. It's now September and we still don't have our window coverings - even though we paid IN FULL the day of the original delivery. We were initially told our window covering re-order would be done expeditiously, then we found out they were backordered until August 23rd, then September 10th, and today we were told there is no anticipated date for them to be complete. Getting information about our order is nearly impossible- we have called customer service countless times and have never received any concrete information. We have a "case manager," a "resolution specialist," and most recently spoke with a "lead" in customer service. Our case manager never returns our calls or gives us updates. Working with this company has been a nightmare that isn't even over- almost six months later. Today we were offered a second design appointment to choose coverings that were not on backorder. We were assured our case manager would reach out today to coordinate next steps, but I won't be surprised if that doesn't happen. We really just need some help getting our coverings so we can move on. AVOID 3-DAY BLINDS. I wish I had read their recent reviews prior to choosing this company. Very poor follow up services. No pelmet installed and no correction of the blind installation (which has a gap) despite multiple follow ups. The standard response is "We will follow up shortly" well more than 30 days and no real person has come on email or phone to discuss this!!! I am horrified at the lack of professionalism (I literally begged him to complete the work properly) both of the installer and the follow up team ! Salesperson was terrible. She had poor math skills, making simple arithmetic mistakes in measuring and calculating dates for warranty. She also made errors in calculating prices, and failed to understand that a 50% discount was greater than two 20% discounts. She took a long time to write up the order, and when she finally finished she had the order going to another customer. I asked her to cancel the order and this took over a half hour. When I came back to check on her, she had removed her mask. At this point I asked her to leave my house. read more

She started by asking for my budget, and when I told her that I didn't have one yet since I'm still evaluating options and it's my first time installing shades, she refused to show me samples, implying that I might not be able to "afford" them. I asked repeatedly to see them, she refused. She made comments about taking time to implement things so I can afford them and suggested I buy high-quality items that last a lifetime since I will be living forever in my current townhouse that I just bought. I was offended by these remarks. She doesn't know if this is my first or last house or how much I can afford to pay. I thought this was a consultation about finding the right shades for my place, not about my financial situation. Instead of listening to my requirements, she tried to push me toward other options that I was not interested in. The session felt more like a two-hour disagreement and judgement than a consultation. Towards the end, she changed her mind, showed me medium quality samples, and gave me a quote, pressuring me to make a decision on the spot or risk a significant price increase. Later that night, she sent me a quote that was almost double the initial price. When I informed her that I would go with another company, she responded dismissively, saying "it's not for everyone" and claimed they have "higher quality products." She had no idea which company I decided to go with, how much I'm paying the other company or the quality of their products. The whole process was terrible. I'm giving this a 2-star rating since I didn't go through the rest of the process, but based solely on the consultation, I would give it a 0. By the way, I chose to go with a company that has higher quality, higher price and a fantastic professional service. Highly recommend to go elsewhere, don't waste your time. read more

Design consultant showed up on time and impressed me with his knowledge about window treatment design for my windows and sliding glass door. He provided a professional computer generated estimate with costs and the installation schedule, but that's where it stopped. After submitting the order and following the installer's remeasure, I was then told 2-weeks later that the price contract was increased by $500 to cover additional hardware that was omitted from the original estimate. In addition, if I decided to go forth with the order, there was an additional 4 weeks added to the installation timeframe, pushing it back to almost April. Given these changing circumstances, a few days later I decided to cancel the contract and get my $2000 down payment back. Now I'm told it may take two weeks to get my funds returned because of the Holidays. After reading on Yelp about my disenchantment with the refund policy, an executive from customer relations contacted me and my refund was in my account the next day. Well, once again 3 Day Blinds' measurements were incorrect. As I mentioned in my earlier review the salesman measured my windows on 8/24, a window measurer came out to confirm the salesman measurements on 8/31, shades were installed on 9/20 but they were too long and didn't fit inside window frame, installer re-measured. 9/29 re-measured shades were installed and they did not fit. How many 3 Day Blinds workers does it take to measure a window? read more

3 Month Blinds would be a better name. One color we ordered was back-ordered. I asked if they could install the parts of the order that were in stock and they said "no." Later, without my asking, they called and offered to install part of the order which they did. Then I got a call that the balance of the order was in. When the installer came, one blind was missing. They admitted they failed to order that blind. More waiting. Finally the last one arrived. A couple of days ago, I received an email asking for payment of the balance due. Fine, except that they are asking for the original full amount without deducting the 50% we paid when we ordered. So now, over 3 months after placing the order, I am trying to get something showing what I really owe, which I will pay. read more
